Where does Dove go for lunch?
Magic Hamburger
Greasy sandwiches are by no means Dove's favorite food, but she can't ignore the convenience of being able to order hot food and have it ready in less than ten minutes. Besides, it's been a little while since she's seen the NecroDancer, and it wouldn't hurt to check on him and make sure he's not causing any trouble; she's pretty sure he's not, but she knows Candence would appreciate her keeping an eye on him. And of course, Magic Hamburger doesn't have a dress code for customers, which is especially important to Dove now.
The fast-food restaurant is about a mile away from the yoga studio, so it takes Dove about fifteen minutes to walk there. This gives her plenty of time to enjoy feeling the midday sun on every inch of her naked body; she realizes she's at a greater risk of sunburn like this, but at least she won't have to worry about tan lines! She twirls through the streets with her arms out wide, savoring every moment she gets to spend outside on her way to lunch, and attracting the attention of just about everyone who walks or drives by.
When Dove gets close to the restaurant, she hears a voice she doesn't recognize call out to her. "Uh, excuse me, ma'am! A-are you looking for the nude beach?"
Dove turns around and sees a young adult who seems to be struggling to look at her. She blinks curiously. "Nude beach?"
"It's, uh, on the west end of the city. A little further n-north."
Dove is intrigued; she wasn't aware that there were places outdoors in this world where people are expected to be naked. She'll have to do more research on this subject later. "That's good to know, thank you!" She gives the nervous onlooker a friendly smile and continues on her way to lunch.
When Dove enters Magic Hamburger, she sees the NecroDancer taking orders at the counter. There are a few people in line, so Dove waits patiently for her turn. When there's only one person left in front of her, the NecroDancer suddenly freezes with his eyes wide, as he notices Dove standing there baring her entire body. The customer he's been helping turns around to see what's gotten the employee's attention and then looks away blushing and goes back to ordering, while Dove covers her mouth and giggles softly. People sure are having some funny reactions to me today!
Once the NecroDancer finally manages to focus enough to complete a transaction, he grins wickedly at Dove as she steps forward. "Well, well, you certainly know what a man likes to see. Have you come to thank me properly for helping you?" His expression suddenly shifts to an unamused glare. "Or are you trying to distract me from my work and get me fired?"
Dove smiles innocently. "Oh, no, neither of those! I just thought it would be fun to go out without any clothes on today. And it is! How's your day going, NecroDancer?"
"Great, just great. It's not like I'm barely keeping up with hundreds of orders with almost no help or anything." The NecroDancer shamelessly stares at Dove's chest while he grumbles sarcastically. "Now are you going to order something, or did you come here just to flaunt your freedom?"
"Yes, I would like an Illusion Burger with mustard and a small lemonade, please." As far as Dove can tell, the Illusion Burger is the only entree on Magic Hamburger's menu that doesn't contain any meat or dairy, instead containing fake meat made from vegetables.
"Got it, that'll be $7.63." Dove taps her credit card at the dark bard's prompting and then takes her receipt and heads off to sit down and wait for her food. When she finds an empty booth, she hesitates, realizing that she forgot to bring a towel to sit on. She finds a napkin dispenser and grabs several napkins, laying them out on the seat in a small pile before sitting down on them. It's a bit wasteful, but it'll do for today.
As Dove waits for her food, she does her best to ignore the NecroDancer, who takes every chance he gets to stare at her. Normally Dove doesn't mind people looking at her, but the way he does it just makes her feel uncomfortable. Maybe she should wear clothes the next time she comes here, but in the meantime, she refuses to let one rude old man ruin her otherwise lovely day. At least the NecroDancer can't stare for too long before he has to get back to work.
Dove turns her attention to the nearby window, where she sees another zombified citizen shuffling along the sidewalk. The people of this city really do need our help, don't they? And I've been spending all day thinking about myself... While Dove of all people would know that everyone should spend some time taking care of themselves, she realizes that she should put her newfound energy to good use for the benefit of the city. She was already doing a good job supporting her friends and helping her students stay in shape before, so imagine what she can do now without the restrictions of clothing!
"Order 623!" When she hears the NecroDancer call out her order, Dove jumps up from her seat to collect her food, pausing briefly to unstick a napkin from herself. After she thanks the man (getting only an annoyed sigh in response) and sits down to eat, she starts thinking of new ways she can make people's lives better while she bites into her vegan burger.
