Maddie begins to work in Gambit's mind

Madelyne watched as Gambit relaxed.

He was soon right where she wanted him.

Which meant she could get into his mind and then she could really get to work.

Her mission had to be fulfilled, lest she angered the wrong person.

In this case, she knew Karla would eventually get the message to her boss and, from everything she'd been told, that was one person Madelyne didn't want to cross.

She entered his brain and looked around.

It was, as she'd figured, chaotic, which was fine with her.

She thrived in chaos, as many X-Men would attest to.

Of course, that was before Remy's time on the team, so he had little clue who she was, something that gave her something of an advantage.

Even if he'd studied up on her, he had no idea how powerful she really was.

She wondered around for a bit, enjoying just how sexually charged a person Remy really was.

That said, she did noticed that it felt kind of mild, mainly just him flirting with others.

It felt like there were statues and pictures of Rogue everywhere, almost like a reminder to himself that his heart was taken.

Eventually she found a door that she was unable to enter, something that immediately got her interest.

If there was something locked behind this door, that meant she had found something he didn't want people to see.

Which made her very curious.

She fought with the door a bit, until she heard the voice of what she was sure was Remy's **** persona in her head.

"Maddie, I know who you are and I know why you're here." It began.

"I'll let you in, but once you're in, you have to commit yourself to this." It continued.

Madelyne , nodded at that, she wasn't 100 percent sure what the voice meant, but she still agreed, wanting to see what was behind the door.

With her agreement to commit (whatever that meant), the door opened and Madelyne walked into what she was pleased to find was Remy's mental red light district.

The atmosphere and the heat was already so overwhelming that Madelyne felt the urge to start shedding clothes, something she was sure was by design.

Madelyne wasn't shy about her body, so she soon did just that.

If this part of Remy's mind wanted her nude, she'd be more than happy to give it what it wanted.

She walked around a bit until she found a hotel, it was obvious to her that the motel contained every one of Remy's fantasies.

She was right, as every room was a pornographic fantasy of a different woman.

She loved it, with the obvious exception of the Jean Grey room.

That one got a bit under her skin, but she let it go for now.

No need to let a petty hatred get in the way of the plan.

She knew exactly who was in the last door in the motel.

It would have been clear to anyone that had even a passing knowledge of Remy LeBeau who was in the room with the green door.

She walked up to the door and tried to open it, but it was locked.

That really caught Madelyne off guard.

Perhaps he held whatever fantasies about Rogue he had in this room, determined to protect them from prying eyes because they were more special than any of the other fantasies.

Of course, it could also be that it wasn't the Southern Belle in this room.

She just had to get through that door to figure out what the answer was.

She tried to hit the door with her shoulder a few times, but it wouldn't budge.

There had to be a way in.

After a bit of trying to break the door down, the door swung wide open of it's own accord and she found herself face to face with ****.

He was an unnerving site, but Madelyne was determined to power through it.

"I've been waiting for you." He growled at her.

Madelyne simply nodded and walked in, ready to find out what the hell was going on once and for all.
