FUN FACT: Maxine is one of Vixen's most important characters as she was the first superhero that I ever created! She's essentially an amalgamation of Jennifer Garner's Elektra and Kenny McCormick's Mysterion. Unlike Kenny however, people still remember seeing her die - sometimes horrifically - right in front of them, before automatically coming back to life 10 minutes later with nary a scratch on her! Powers & Abilities:

Weapons:

A pair of enchanted twin Sai, given to her at the age of 4 by the https://pdsh.fandom.com/wiki/Black_Dragon_Society. The enchantment basically turns them into heat-seeking missiles; never loosing momentum once thrown and being able to maneuver past stationary or slow-moving obstacles with very little being able to stop them until they've hit their target. Although deadly when used together, individually only the right Sai is capable of dealing lethal blows while the left only paralyzes. The paralyzation only lasts as long as the blade is inserted; once taken out the person automatically regains consciousness and is completely undamaged both internally and externally. They're also indestructible and can stab through almost anything! They also "die" when she dies, that way she has something to defend herself with while in the Dreamlands. They can also glow in the dark and even magickally light themselves on fire depending on the incantation she utters!

Personality: Despite being raised from a young age to be a cold, ruthless and bloodthirsty assassin, Maxine is actually quite compassionate, caring, loyal and friendly. Although she does suffer from trauma, she doesn't let it define her and deals with it in healthy ways. Maxine is one of the few characters who doesn't really take **** - both the concept and its various physical personifications - seriously. This only only applies to her though since she knows that she'll be back in a few minutes anyway. That doesn't mean she isn't careful or is the 'go in guns blazing' type as she tries to not die when going on missions, but if she does suffer a fatal wound or sees **** coming towards her and knows that there's no way for her to get out of the way in time, her reaction will usually be something along the lines of "well shit, that sucks". She'll even commit suicide just to get it over with quicker. Like her father, she's charming, sociable, witty, dutiful, affectionate and pragmatic. Despite being born in the States, she spent most of her youth in Japan and as a result does retain some aspects of Japanese culture such as prioritizing group harmony, emotional restraint, polite & respectful gestures such as bowing and using keigo, and a strong adherence to structure, cleanliness and humility. However, when it's time to get serious, she locks TF IN!
