Lyra takes control

Both women circle around the ring, testing the waters, before meeting in the middle with a collar-and-elbow tie up. Roxanne tries to push Lyra backwards, but Lyra is able to get the advantage and locks in a side headlock. That smile from earlier remains on Lyra’s face as she wrenches on the headlock, tightening her squeeze around Roxanne’s head.

Roxanne attempts an escape by throwing two punches into the abdomen of the “Bird Lady.” Lyra’s hold on Roxanne loosens a bit, but she quickly retaliates by using a headlock takedown to throw Roxanne to the mat! A frustrated grunt can be heard coming from Roxanne as she stomps the mat while lying on her back.

“Momentum in favor of Lyra here, lets see if she can hold onto it,” comments Madden.

With the headlock in tight, Lyra has her body overtop the slightly shorter wrestler. The 5’1” Roxanne wraps her arms around the waist of the 5’3” Lyra, and rolls her over into almost like a school boy position. This match can’t end in a pinfall though, like most AHW’s matches, but being upside down causes Lyra to fully lose her grip and Roxanne escapes.

The competitors scramble to their feet with Roxanne being the first in a standing position. Quickly she runs towards Lyra, but, with cat-like reflexes, Valkyria is able to sweep the leg and trip Perez with a drop toe hold. Roxanne falls face first into the mat and her ass and thighs jiggle upon impact with the mat.

While Roxanne is briefly dazed on the mat, Lyra turns around on her knees and gives a big open handed swat to the ass of Roxanne! The crowd lets out a cheer while Roxanne lets out an audible yelp and scurries out the ring. The self-proclaimed Prodigy holds a hand to her ass, a stinging sensation across her left cheek. Lyra, still in the ring, stands back up and shakes her hand while laughing at her embarrassed opponent.

“Could that be an indicator of what’s to come?! Was Lyra getting Roxanne’s booty ready for the paddle?” asks Jerry. Roxanne, who’s still recovering from the spank right in front of the commentary table, overhears Lawler’s comment.

The young woman turns her attention to Jerry and stares daggers towards the commentator. “Why don’t you shut up?!” shouts Roxanne. “No one cares what either of you have to say!”

Suddenly the crowd starts to cheer even louder. “Well,” starts Mark, “maybe you should care about what’s happening in the ring right now.” Roxanne turns around to see Lyra climbing the ropes and making her way to the pink paddle!
