Lydia escapes

No sooner did Lydia's stepmother Delia enter the bathroom than Lydia got up and ran out, taking great care to dodge Delia's attempts to stop her.

Unfortunately, she was in such a hurry that she forgot to wrap the shower curtains around her, thus giving her stepmother much more a view of her naked body than Lydia would have wished.

Worse yet, in her efforts to avoid Delia, Lydia ran straight into another person. A man whom Lydia hoped was her father -- But no, Lydia's father would not be caught dead wearing a black turtleneck and he certainly was not that obese. Instead it seemed fairly obvious that Lydia had run into Delia's long-time friend Otho Fenlock, a man whom Lydia had once presumed to be gay yet stared at Lydia's naked body with an intensity that gave away his true sexual orientation.

The only good thing about Lydia's running into Otho is that for once, the man was struck speechless and Lydia was able to run away from him with little difficulty. Instead she immediately ran to her bedroom where she hastily entered and shut the door behind her.

"I'm sure glad all that is over with," said Lydia as she hugged her naked body.

"Yeah," said a voice in the room behind her. "I'm glad too."
