Lydia confronts her mystery guest

Lydia had been pretty sure that there was no one else in her bedroom save her so when a voice spoke from behind her, she could not help turning around and screaming, "Who the hell are you?"

"Why I'm the Invisible Man," said a voice from out of nowhere.

"Really?" asked Lydia.

"Would you believe the Invisible Woman?" asked the invisible person.

"Your voice sounds a little too deep for me to believe that," said Lydia.

"Okay then, I'm a Ghostbuster," said the voice.

"That's ridiculous," said Lydia.

"But I am," insisted the voice.

"Then how come I can't see you?" asked Lydia.

"Because I'm an invisible ghostbuster," said the invisible person.

At this point, Lydia rolled her eyes. "Okay," she said. "Who are you really?"

A naked woman with curly brown hair appeared at Lydia's side and said, "Stay away from him. He's dangerous."

"That's my name!" exclaimed the invisible person. "Johnny Dangerous!"

"No it isn't," said the naked woman.

"Would you believe Johnny Dangerously?" asked the invisible person.

"No!" yelled the naked woman.

Then the nude woman turned toward Lydia and said, "His name is Beetlejuice. He's a vesti-exorcist but he likes to pose as other people as you've just seen. The one thing that can control him is saying his name three times like this. Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice. Beetlejui --"

"Hey, wait a minute!" yelled the being the woman called Beetlejuice.

But before he could say anything more, the woman completed her chant and the being disappeared.

"What happened?" asked Lydia.

"I sent him away, of course," said the woman. "Of course if you say the same name again three times, he'll come right back but I can't imagine you wanting to do a thing like that."

"Wow!" cried Lydia. "How did you know how to do all that? And what happened to your clothes? And how did you get in here?"

"She's a ghost, silly," said a feminine voice behind Lydia. "As for the lost clothes, well, I suppose you can blame that on Beetlejuice too."
