Lunch with Rachel

Sitting at a table in the food court, Cassandra stared at the deli sandwich on the tray in front of her. After a few minutes, Rachel came, carrying a tray with a falafel plate and a couple of smoothies. She sat down next to Cassandra.

"Here, I got you your favorite smoothie," Rachel said, handing it to Cassandra.

"Thanks," Cassandra said. She took a sip of the smoothie, barely looking up.

Cassandra took a moment to ponder the sheer brutality of the Breeding Passes. She had had sex with her brother. She was going to be pregnant and have no idea who the father is. "Oh my god," Cassandra said, "I'm gonna be, like, so traumatized tomorrow."

Rachel gave Cassandra a big hug, squeezing her tight. "If you are, I'll be there," she said. "You should sleep over at my place tonight."

"Okay," Cassandra snuggled into her friend.

Cassandra turned to face Rachel, "Thank you so much, by the way. You really took one for the team back there. Literally."

Rachel cut Cassandra off, "You'll be a good aunt. That's what you'll do."

Cassandra sighed. Rachel was right. The two ate together in silence for a few minutes.

"You should try to be nicer to Dave," Rachel said. This comment elicited a glare from Cassandra. Rachel continued, "he has a nice cock, you know."

"Ugh," Cassandra groaned. She gave Rachel a look. She did know, that was the problem.

"So," Rachel teased, giving Cassandra a sly smile, "are you gonna fuck him again?"

Rachel giggled. "We could have a threesome."

"Justin?" Rachel asked.

"Justin." Cassandra affirmed.

Both girls giggled.

"Well, so far, anyway." Cassandra added.

Rachel raised an eyebrow. She pulled out the Breeding Pass and tapped it on the table. She gave Cassandra a look.
