Lunch time

Entering the kitchen, Annita couldn't help but feel on edge. Even after passing that test, there was still a lot that she had to work through.

There, a bunch of sandwiches sat on the counter. A far cry from what Annita could assume to be the normal lunch, she appreciated the gesture.

"Thank you." Annita announced and got a nod from Dana's mother. Looking around for somewhere to sit, she eventually settled on a stool. Dana sat down beside her, taking the opportunity to reach out to the elderly lady's hand. Grabbing hold, Annita gave her girlfriend a squeeze. Getting a squeeze back, that was Dana's mother cue to bring them both over a sandwich. Chowing down, her thoughts turned to the future. She wanted to get to know Dana better and in turn, immerse herself further in her religion. Beyond that, Annita wanted to keep her option open.
