Lunch time!

I went back to Mrs. Estrada’s class, she threw a small fit at me taking practically half an hour in the restroom, of course. Went and gave me a warning since I’m new, I shrugged it off and snoozed through the rest of her class.

Soon the bell rang and it was lunch time as the class emptied out into the hallways and I quickly got lost in the maze of people. After leaving my newly given class books in my locker, I went and checked out the school cafeteria. It was pretty big, one large spacious white area with the kitchen on one side and the tables filling the remaining 70% of the room. Plenty of students mingling around, chatting and talking and gossiping of the sorts. Really it was quite funny, they behaved the same as my old school, just all wearing the same clothing type. I guess in a school whether it’s private or public the people inside are all the same regardless. Huh, go figure.

I stood in line and got my lunch tray filled, a standard hamburger with a small salad and juice and an apple on the side. It was pretty neat, they had a selection of foods to choose and offered a variety of fruit and even some dessert on the side. I was impressed, nearly overwhelmed even. But once I grabbed lunch I turned around and was stunned, I didn’t give much thought about where I go and now I have no clue where to sit.
