Chapter 8 by GyroscopicGraphite GyroscopicGraphite

Who does she find?

Lunala, Stella's favorite steamer

Stella wandered around the colossal mall for a time before settling on a bench to reread the collar's manual. In theory, if she was to ask someone to put it on, they would, and no one else would care what the pair did. But in practice, well... Stella didn't know. Her train of thought was interrupted when she looked up from the paper and saw a recognizable figure against the dark background of a black store wall. It almost looked like...

She examined the figure closer. It really was her! It was her favorite streamer, Lunala Solcro. Possibly one of the biggest streamers in the world, Lunala had an established fanbase on a wide variety of platforms and Stella often tuned into her streams. A very social and outgoing person in high school and college, she became popular at he lunch tables, telling stories about things that happened in school or in her life. She often talked about how she wanted to be an influencer, and college is when she started posting. As she finished her degree, Lunala's dreams became a reality and she often streamed herself playing a variety of games. Even now Lunala's following was only growing.

Why she was going into one of the few stores not painted in concrete white was a little confusing though. She looked around before entering, as though she didn't want to be seen, despite wearing the pink and bright yellow she was known for. The store was seemingly a store dedicated for the gothic style, nothing unusual in mordern times. When you looked closer, however, you see what it truly is; a BSDM shop. Complete with chains, ropes, and latex catsuits. The pretty popular bright pink person she adored so much was going there? Of all places, all people? Then again, Stella had a magical collar and leash in her purse, so she wasn't in any place to judge.

Although, if Lunala was going there, then maybe it was possible Stella could convince her to wear the collar. A beautiful and famous lady at her beck and call? Okay, maybe that is a tad ridiculous, but it's worth a shot, isn't it? Stella got up and took a deep breath, ready to take one hell of leap of faith.

Lunala darted in like a rabbit running to a bush to hide, clutching the bag strapped to her shoulder quite tightly. Stella followed, a slight grin of excitement spreading across her face. She found Lunala a little hunched over, as though she was hiding amongst the dark clothing and whips, despite her hot pink and back chick yellow twintails making her stick out like a sore thumb. That wasn't even taking into account her outfit, consisting of a light pink ribbon in her hair, a somewhat baggy lavender shirt with a picture of bunnies frolicking in the grass, a pair of shorts that reached halfway down to her knees, and a pair of white socks.

"Hellp there," Stella greeted, "Um, say, would you happen to be Lunala?" Lunala jumped as if shocked to be spoken to. "O-Oh, I, um, hey t-there," she sputtered out. "Y-Yes that's me," Lunala said, shakily turning around. Her face was a fearful pale white that was interceded by the red blush of embarrassment. It was clear Lunala was afraid of this, that she didn't want to be recognized, which was reasonable, considering where she was. This was something she could never tell her fans, and probably not something she would've told her family. And now that she was discovered, it was likely only a matter of time before the secret got out who knows what would happen next.

With most other people, that would be a very real possibility. Stella, on the other hand, had entirely different reasons for her nervousness. Disregarding the whole 'meeting a famous person' thing, if the collar wasn't quite what it advertised, then it would be incredibly awkward, at which point, it would be probably be more embarressing for herself than for Lunala. But if it worked, then... she had already gotten this far, she might as well go all the way. "Maybe I can help you find what you like. Here," she said as she reached into her bag, "Try this on."

Does she?
