Luna continues researching literature

Luna maintained an effort to study the Rapi. Her office was smaller than she liked and paper was limited. The paper she was scrolling through mentioned the 'true nature' of the communities. In the past she had subscribed to the belief that the Rapi infection was intelligent with an almost insect like society. Now she felt that that was painfully wrong, that researchers only respected the Rapi because they had never seen them in person.

She knew now that every infected creature was suffering. They didn't have a society, but wouldn't attack eachother out of the common goal to reproduce. Too many researchers wanted to know why and how the Rapi could live and that disgusted her. While she was outspoken there were people like her who had seen the front line and wanted to rid the creatures of their disease.

She sighed, necked the remainder of her instant coffee and continued her peer review.
