Luna, where Aqua makes things... Awkward.

They headed back down, and Kazuma approached Luna about selling the three bottles of top shelf wine he had claimed from Aqua. Luna took a look at the wine, and tested a shot, and gave a low whistle.

"Wow. Kazuma. Where did you get this? I'd never seen the brand before?" Luna asked, looking at him curiously, impressed at the quality.

"I did someone a huge favor a while back, and they have a lot of this wine," he lied easily. "Obviously, I'm keeping some for myself and my party, but I can bring some surplus whenever I get more," he added.

"I see. Then here you go! I'm glad it's that. If you were brewing your own **** without a license then that would be a crime," she said with a smile as she handed Kazuma a bag of coins.

He tried to hide the fact that he paled a bit at that. He made a mental note to figure out a way to make a wish to ensure this didn't come back to bite him. "Thanks Luna," he grinned.

"By the way, if you don't mind me asking, what was that favor?" Luna asked.

Kazuma, who had deliberately been vague to ensure the lie didn't have details that could be easily unraveled later, quickly went the "too embarrassing to go into detail" route. "...let's just say he got himself into a... unique situation, and I helped him out of it, and leave it at that," he replied, managing to produce a blush by imagining her naked, and looking away, rubbing the back of his head.

Luna started to nod, and accept the explanation. Then Aqua decided to tease and screw with Kazuma. And potentially sabotage his wine selling so she could keep all of it. "It was so sweet! One girl that was there was moved to tease and screaming about how good Kazuma was!"

Darkness blushed. "Well that's not technically a lie."

"Gah! Don't go into details, you idiot!" Kazuma shouted at Aqua.

"Kazuma. Is there something you want to explain to me?" Luna asked while giving a **** glare.

"She's taking SOOO much out of context there!" Kazuma scrambled, giving Aqua a **** glare of his own as she laughed, unrepentant.

"I would be happy to hear the context, Kazuma," she said with a smile that only added to the fear factor.

Kazuma was thinking frantically, and quickly lied, "Okay, look, it was a party that involved some asshat with something against said person I helped out spiking the drinks with a potent aphrodisiac, and planting more of said aphrodisiac in that guy's belongings. Fortunately, I saw the asshole do it, and cleared the victim's name, but only after things got crazy." He added a grimace for effect. "I'll spare you the details."

"Oh! The Count Binderwald incident from last month! Kazuma, why didn't you say you were involved in that?" Luna said, smiling. "Though I don't remember hearing you were involved in that? How strange."

Kazuma mentally face palmed. Of COURSE there was an actual incident involving that! That was the downside to being vague, it left room for things to be associated with so many other incidents. Still, maybe he could work this to his advantage if he worded a wish right. "I didn't exactly want my part in it publicized," he grumbled, shooting Aqua another glare.

Aqua just smirked, clearly enjoying the show. "I would appreciate you not telling anyone about this..." he said to Luna with a sigh.

"I dunno, Kazuma... This seems like juicy gossip," she said with a sly, mischievous smirk.

His eye twitched. "You seriously going to **** me? Fine, let me retaliate in kind. Steal!"
