Luffy gets humiliated and defeated easily

As Luffy was angered by Nami, he felt condident that he would win easily. As he stretched one of his arms back, Nami's eyes widened in surprise.

"You can stretch? Did you eat a Devil Fruit? I thought those were just rumors," said Nami.

"Nope, I ate the Gum Gum Fruit as a kid and now I'm a rubberman. And I'm about to end this now. Gum Gum Pistol!" yelled Luffy as he sent his arm straight at Nami to land a punch.

However, Nami was able to dodge it easily by moving sideways quickly. Luffy was surprised, but he quicly sent another Gum Gum Pistol with his other arm but once again, Nami dodged easily. As Luffy pulled his arms back to himself, Nami pulled out the three parts of her bo staff and connected them together and twirled the connected staff a bit before she gestured with her free hand for Luffy to attack her again.

By this point, Luffy had had enough and sent a Gum Gum Gattling Gun this time raining a bunch of punches at Nami. However to his great shock, Nami used her staff to block some punches as she avoided the rest. Luuffy could not believe he that not one punch had landed on Nami. After a while, Luffy stopped the attack, and he was breathing a bit hard as he just got more frustrated.

"You've got some interesting attacks, I'll admit, but what does that matter if you can't even land the attack on someone like me? If you can't land a puncj on me, you stand no match at thoses who would actually have a shot at becoming the Pirate King."

"Shut up! I haven't lost yet. You might be evading my attacks, but you can't win without attacking me back!"

"Don't you worry, Luffy. I know that. But is that all you've got? Are you done attacking me?" asked Nami, noticing that Luffy was starting to get tired by his breathing.

As Luffy resumed his attacking, Nami noticed that there was some rope on a nearby table. While Luffy was preoccupied with trying to land any atack on her, Nami subtly made her way to the table and took thhe rope without Luffy being aware. At this point, Luffy's attacks became slower as his breathing beame harder. Once she knew that it become slow enough and Luffy had worn himself out mentally as well, Nami grabbed Luffy's punches with just one of her hands at the wrist.

"L-let go," said Luffy as he struggled to break free.

Nami smirked as she walked straight at Luffy instead, pushing his arms back towards him, but still having a hold of his wrists. As she got straight up at Luffy, she quickly pulled his hands above his head and quickly ran to his back as she pulled his hands behind his back.

"Hey, what are you doing?"

"Winning," said Nami as she used some of the rope to tie his hands behind his back and then used some more rope to tie his ankles together. She pushed him to the ground and as he fell she placed one of her feet on Luffy's back.

"You can't et out of this, can you? Looks like I've won the bet."

Luffy could not believe it. Nami didn't defeat him in the typical way that Luffy would have expected a winner to emerge, but she had done it in a smart way, using her own strategy to win. Luffy could not believe it; the dream he had worked so hard to prepare for was no more when he had just practically began his pirate journey.
