Lucy doesn't want it

Lucy looked up at Petra nervously. Part of her wanted it, wanted to be touched and made to feel good, but not like this. She wanted someone who actually loved her, and as much as Petra might like her she would only see her as a pet to be played with. Lucy couldn't bring herself to accept that.

A sorrowful look on her face, she shook her head no. She didn't know how Petra would react until she felt a soft pat on the small of her back. "That's ok Cutie. It'll take some time for you to warm up to me. You rest up now and don't worry about anything."

Valerie looked disappointed when she got up, but Petra gave her a teasing smile. "She hasn't made the same connection to me yet, you were with her at the park and I wasn't. Should I give you some privacy with her?"

Valerie chuckled. "No, that's all right. It's been an eventful day and I'm happy to just go to bed."

Lucy, relieved that nobody was upset with her for refusing Petra's offer, had already snuggled into her bed with the plush dog. Her mistresses followed suit in their own bed, and soon all three were sleeping soundly.
