What does Harriet choose

Loyal solider

As Harriet looked through the options on her scroll she looked back up at the young huntress infront of her seeing her restrained to the machine made her think about there brief time together wishing things had ended differently looking back at her scroll she selected the loyal solider reading the description of it this option would involve the subject's memories being changed the events of there life being altered with the goal of making them a loyal solider by nature to ensure the narrative of events being implanted won't be broken a mental projection of events will play out on this device via a mental link make sure to follow the events as to not break the constructed narrative to ensure this a pair bond will be created between the user and subject confirm?

Entering confirm the helmet began the process of rewriting Ruby's memories the hypnotic spiral flashing images of her memories as they changed starting with her time at beacon as it was wiped away in it's place memories of being offered a chance to attend Atlas at a younger age the goodbye's exchanged to both sister and father as she boarded the airship as it made it's way the academy starting her first year of training meeting a younger Harriet as she too attended the school Ruby developing a crush on her as the two of them learned and trained together her nervous personality of being alone not knowing anyone faded with time as she began to make friends with the other students as she got used to her new life in Atlas later memories began to change the dance at beacon began to distort replaced with a dance in Atlas remembering it as the night she plucked up the courage to ask Harriet to dance with her witch she accepted the two dancing the night away ending with Ruby confessing her feelings to Harriet the two sharing a passionate kiss by the end of the night back with the real Harriet in the reconditioning chamber as she watched the narrative play out on her scroll reminded her of what actually happened that night for her as well at the in Atlas dance also been left alone that night with no one to dance with seeing what could have been made Harriet blush at the thought she didn't expect it to bring all these feelings to surface why what was happening to her was it all the result of watching the process was merely observing it affecting her mind somehow? Or was seeing these events play out making her grow feelings for her reaching down to her chest with her left her felt her heart racing at what she was seeing looking back at Ruby Harriet couldn't help feel a little guilty for what was happening knowing that the same girl she dragged into this room wouldn't walk out the same the memories of her life would be completely changed Harriet walked closer to the restrained and naked Ruby reaching down to her mouth she took out the ball gag tossing it to the side witch another robotic hand caught it receding back into wall with it kneeling down to eye level with her putting a hand on her cheek.

"Dammit how can you be this adorable I genuinely wonder what would've happened if we actually met all that time ago would things be different would you and I still be enemies I wish things could've ended differently between us you know I never thought I'd have to use this room on another huntress.... Who am I kidding you can't hear me." Harriet said.

Looking back down at her scroll watching the process continue as Ruby finished her first year of training as a huntress deciding to stay in Atlas after graduation via joining the military events began to catch up to the present as Ruby returned Vale to participate in the vital festival reuniting with her sister sharing stories about their respective academy's both admitting to each other that they had feelings for their partners Yang laughing at the fact her sister had found a girlfriend so soon after leaving home making Ruby blush at the comment the conversation turning to when Ruby would return home not having the heart to tell her sister that she would stay in Atlas after she was done her training instead just saying that the would see each other again after graduation continuing on with the chain of events witnessing the fall of beacon and the **** of Pyrrha and unleashing her silver eyes for the first time only this time waking up in the ruins of the tower seeing the seemingly lifeless body of cinder walking past her making her way down see the giant grim that had moments before been in flight now lay on the ground turned to stone moving past it and to the evacuation site finding her sister laying on the ground missing her right arm seeing this and the destruction had changed Ruby seeing all of this had broken something in her the shy hopeful girl who had left a year ago was gone wiping a tear from her cheek Ruby calmly picked up her older sister in her arms carrying her to one of the departing airships still carrying her telling the pilot were she lived the airship taking off Ruby never let go of her sister for the entire flight even as the ship landed she wouldn't let go of her sister even as her father ran out of the house she kept carrying Yang walking past her father until she finally managed to get to her bed laying her down on it not leaving her side even as the night dragged on a falling asleep next to her the next morning waking up in her old bed walking out of her old room she saw her uncle and father talking in the kitchen the two going quite as Ruby entered her father telling her that Yang was awake and that'd she'll be alright however the trauma of losing her arm had left her jaded her uncle explained Ruby thanked both of them before entering her sisters room understanding that it wasn't just what happened to her arm that left her like this asking her if she was really going give up because of losing her arm or was it losing something more important to her asking if she knew where Blake was causing Yang to snap shouting that she could never understand what she was going through calling her a child hearing this Ruby couldn't take it anymore unable to hold back the truth she explained that she wouldn't be coming back for the foreseeable future after this explaining that she'd decided to join the military the two going silent as Ruby walked out as she held back tears saying goodbye to her father and uncle leaving she made her way to one last spot before catching an airship back to Atlas making her way to an overlook of a cliff on it stood a single head stone the name Summer Rose was written on it kneeling down Ruby placed a single white rose with a red interior on top of the grave beginning to talk to it about the adventures she'd been on and all the things she'd seen since she left wishing she could talk to her to ask what she should do and wondered if she would be proud of the person she had become afterwords leaving for the airship going back to Atlas boarding it with the pilot explaining a blockade was being formed this being one of the last airships to be leaving Vale looking around the interior Ruby saw no one else was onboard save for her and the pilot the only other thing of note was a rectangular crate in the middle of of the cabin examining it she noticed the top was glass it was just darkened placing her hand on top of it caused a faint light to activate beneath the glass revealing the shape of a body in peaces the silhouette giving it away it was Penny or what was left of her after what happened at the start of the attack looking up her and the pilot giving each other a knowing look Ruby moved into the cockpit taking the empty copilot seat not wanting to sit in the cabin with that box sitting down as the airship to off watching her old home fade into the distance settling in for the long flight back the screen fading to black with a message appearing: (the subject will begin to form memories of recent events of the fabrication on there own be sure to maintain the constructed narrative or risk the subject regaining old personality.) looking up from scroll at Ruby seeing the restraints being undone and the helmet being lifted off her head looking to her left Harriet noticed a table rising from the floor on it was a new set of clothes that matched what she wore during the events of the fabrication on it next to that was neatly folded red cloak unmistakably Ruby's how long had it been there brushing that thought a side looking back at Ruby seeing she was still **** looking at the table Harriet noticed how it looked rather than the black and red of her original this outfit consisted of a white under shirt with a light gray jacket with a pair of black gloves however Harriet's attention was pulled away from the set of clothes as she looked back up to see multiple sets of mechanical hands began to pick up and dress the still **** Ruby in her new clothes one set lifted her up by her arms while another started to wrap the undershirt over her chest fitting her arms through the sleeves followed by the jacket and cloak the white and grey clashing with red finishing by put a pair of grey pants on her the mechanical arms reseeding back into the walls moving Ruby back on to the chair Harriet staring as Ruby slowly opened her eyes .

"What's with the look Harriet one physical examination and you look like you seen a ghost wasn't it your idea to be the one here for it look is something wrong ?" Ruby said.

Completely oblivious to what had happened to her not five minutes ago realizing what was happening Ruby's memories had created a narrative to fit the situation.

"Nothing I was just thinking how far you've come since we first met you've come along way since you first arrived ." Harriet said playing along remembering the message at the end of the of the projection.

"What's brought this on? But yeah we've both come along way since our first days I still remember when I returned from beacon you looked ready to cry it's funny even after all that we never actually- " Ruby said.

"Screw it." Harriet said cutting Ruby off.

Moving closer Harriet pulled Ruby into a deep kiss as Ruby leaned into it the heat began to rise in both of them as Harriet reached down unbuttoning her shirt Ruby doing the same taking off her new jacket as well as her cloak the two giving into the heat of the moment as the two began to pleasure each other be with their hands or their mouths hours past the sounds of moans never escaping the sound proof chamber.

Ending 2 of 5 a night that never was a day that never dawned

(A/N sorry it took so long for me to get this chapter out I genuinely had trouble writing this one I'm sorry if this chapter wasn't what you expected I really wanted each ending to feel different to read don't worry the other chapters won't be so story driven and hopefully will come out sooner no promises.)
