Lorenzo makes a choice

The next morning Lorenzo woke up from his sleep. He looked at himself in the mirror and could see the tan lines from where he’d worn the bikini the day prior. He took himself downstairs to have a coffee with his mum and grandmother. His mother looked at him and asked the question, “ the shops are open now honey, shall we go and buy you some male clothes for the rest of the trip?” Lorenzo was conflicted. Yes it would be nice to wear male clothes again but buying a whole new wardrobe of clothes for only another week of holiday seemed stupid. he had really enjoyed his time posing as a girl. He’d managed to bond more with his cousins and had a lot of new experiences. He sat on the chair and crossed his legs in the feminine way his cousins taught him and answered his mum Lorenzo paused for a moment, his gaze drifting past the steam rising from his coffee cup. "Mum," he began, his voice a mix of gratitude and hesitation, "I appreciate the offer, I really do. But I've been thinking, maybe it's not about the clothes themselves, but the memories we create in them." He smiled softly, recalling the laughter and shared moments with his cousins. "I've learned a lot about myself this past week, and somehow, the idea of switching back so quickly feels like I'd be leaving behind more than just a wardrobe." His mother nodded, understanding in her eyes. "Alright, Lorenzo," she said, "you wear what makes you happy. That's all that matters to us." And with that, Lorenzo knew he had made the right choice, embracing the freedom to be himself, in any attire he chose. Lorenzo finished his coffee and felt the buzz of his phone. It was a text from Bianca, "Lunch out with Francesca. Join us? Wear something casual but cute!" He smiled, already picturing the perfect outfit. He replied with a quick, "Count me in!" and headed to his room.
