Lore: William Arc Chapter I

Years before the Great War on the island of Menagerie lay a warlord named William Arc. A Horse Faunus who was famous for the unification of the island through conquest and improved the spiritual life on it by building churches to the goddess above.

His renown as a tactician did not lie as he formed the first navel logistic services and the first message pigeon carriers. He soon fell ill as Mantle in the north began to invade the island, under the pretext of being a holy war against Faunus.

William soon dreamt that the brothers had abandoned them, expect their sister, Grey. The oldest and most powerful amongst the gods, she was the one who made Remnant and allowed her brothers' creations to roam it. Unlike her brothers, she is quite sexually active, and with the arrival of Light's humans, she had spent a lot of her stress on his humans.

Both of her brothers don't really fear her thinking she would always be too busy for her to do anything, they couldn't be more wrong. When Grey heard that Light convinced Mantle to do a holy war against the Faunus, who he thought was a stain on his creations, she was furious.

Rather than outright confront him, she would humiliate him.

She went into William dreams and told him while being fucked by him, that he will succeed in stopping the invasion with her help and in return she will heal him. As soon as he got out of his wet/spiritual dream his sickness faded and his strength returning. He soon gathered an army of 2000 soldiers and ordered them to form defences against the boarding ships heading their way. With his goddess knowledge, he built trebuchets that could sing 50 KG cast Iron balls that could take out the thin steel of Mantles watercraft, he made IED's out of fire dust and metal pots onto the beach, he had aquatic Faunus to pile up coral, rocks and anything else on the seafloor to make underwater barriers 200 meters off the coast.

As soon as the first Mantle craft came, all hell broke loose. Most of the landing ships got stuck only halfway to the shoreline and its warriors had to jump out of the boat and swim to the shore. Other ships were not so lucky as balls of Iron blow holes into the bottom. As soon as the warriors reach the beach and unsheath their weapons, the ground explodes underneath them as they rush across the sand. The Mantle morale breaking, they surrender as William Arc himself comes out. Instead of executing them like some of his more extremist Faunus generals demand, he enlisted their help on colonising the empty south of Vale. He dedicated churches to the goddess Grey, the sex goddess of fertility and kinship. In the end, Mantle never dared to set foot on the island again in fear of another failed invasion and be humbled again.

The Light brother was absolutely confused on how his creations fail even with his help as Dark just laughs at his failure, all while not knowing his sister had a hand in this.
