Loot

Sawyer was in a completely pitch-black room. He wasn't sure he was even really there since he couldn't see or even feel his own body.

A crystal ball appeared before him, and a voice in his head whispered, "Choose one..."

A list of items appeared in front of him, swirling around in the crystal ball.

Well... 'List' might be a bit of a stretch. There were three items - the skirt, his shirt, and his pants. But the latter two were both grey with the word 'Destroyed' over their image. So his only choice was...

Sawyer groaned and picked the skirt.

As soon as he tapped it, he appeared back in the starting room. To his horror, he was naked.

"Oh, come on!" he said out loud, "I don't even get new starter gear?!"

He grit his teeth and thought for a few moments. He only really had two choices: Wear the only piece of equipment he had - the skirt - or go into the dungeon naked.

The skirt wasn't even on the table. No way. Absolutely not. But... he imagined going into the dungeon with nothing on. No protection. Just him and the cold dungeon air. And the skeletons... And the traps...

"This game is so stupid..." he groaned, summoning the skirt from his inventory. He blushed and unzipped it then pulled it up over his butt. His face was definitely bright red but it was better than wearing nothing at all.

He picked up one of the torches from the wall, and started back into the dungeon again. When he came to the split, he chose the farthest path from the first he'd gone down - opting for the furthest door on the left.

It felt really weird wearing a skirt. Each step made him feel the fabric strain against his thighs and slip up a little. It felt so open and airy and he was constantly pushing it back down, fearing that it might eventually slide up enough to expose his butt when he walked. On top of that, the dungeon was technically a public place. Anyone that came by him would be able to see him wearing girl's clothes. Even if it was technically armor, that wouldn't make it less embarrassing.

He kept close to the walls and moved slowly. He came to traps a few times, but carefully stepped over or around them each time. Once, he heard two skeletons in a hallway he was about to cross through, and decided to find a different way around.

Eventually, he came to his first loot room!

A hidden lever behind a stone lion statue revealed a sliding stone door built into the wall. Sawyer went in and found a chest!

He ran to it right away and threw the lid wide open. Inside was:

1.) A pair of armored gauntlets.
2.) A wooden short sword.
3.) A ruby.
4.) A small sack of gold coins.
5.) A flask of green liquid.
6.) White panties.
7.) A pink bra.

Sawyer quickly hid the valuable items in his inventory, but kept the clothing items out.

A bra and panties... seriously? Why did such a medieval-feeling game have modern clothing anyway? He considered just leaving them in the chest for another player to find, but... They could be valuable. Maybe modern clothes were rare or something. He certainly wouldn't be wearing them, but he ended up picking them up regardless.

As soon as they went into his inventory, he heard two 'Ding!' sounds in his head, like a bell going off. He had no clue why, though. He finished up in the room by slipping the gauntlets onto either hand.

When he left the room, Sawyer stopped in his tracks. He could hear footsteps. Lots of footsteps.
