best friend of his sister Nadja A tug on my shoulder made me lift my head from my notes.

"Learning looks different, Loona." What you're doing there is called sleeping." Nadja smiled at me sympathetically. "The exam is tomorrow, then we'll have gotten thru it and can breathe a sigh of relief." "Believe me, it will be fine," she said.

Her doe-brown eyes radiated hope and confidence. I nodded and stretched to loosen my cramped muscles.

"I'll get you a coffee so you wake up again."

With that, Nadja turned around and disappeared toward the counter of the small café where we held our study sessions. The last two weeks had been tough, but now I finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel.

My hands wandered to my iPhone and my fingers opened the "Find My" app. I smiled, apparently I was already checking John's location out of habit. Two weeks ago, I had connected our smartphones and made sure that I could always see where he was. Thanks to his Apple Watch, I could also easily check from my phone whether he was sticking to our sports agreement. Only with food did I have to trust him to some extent. Although I had gotten my mother to help me implement his new diet.

I tried to make him fitter and more muscular. However, I didn't want to overdo it; he wasn't built to become a bodybuilder. I just wanted to make sure he gained some muscle and maybe a six-pack.

"Here, your iced latte."

Nadja sat down on her chair across from me.

"You're stalking your little brother again, aren't you?" When will you finally introduce him to me? I can hardly wait to play with him.

She grinned and looked at me questioningly.

"Soon, Nadja, soon." I have to approach this the right way. He is not someone I can get rid of once we've worn him out. So, have a little patience and help me go thru the material for the exam tomorrow one last time.
