Look away, a little embarassed

You quickly turn scarlet red. You really want to kiss her, but get too embarassed. When she sees the blood rushing to your face, she quickly becomes red too. Both of you look away and let go of each other. She halfheartedly goes back to preparing the food, as you look on, sad that you didn't take your chance.

'Well, uh, thanks, uh, thanks for your uh, help, Robbie.' Her voice is a little croaky from embarassement. 'I think I can uh, I can manage it from here.'

'Oh, uh, yeah...' you answer, equally croaky. 'Of course uh, just tell me when you need help... I'll uh, I'll go back to the others.'

'Sure,' she answers you. 'It was fun... spending a little time with you...'

'Same here,' you answer, and walk backwards out of the kitchen door, back to the others.
