Look Through the Pink Book

“Might as well start with the first one,” I mutter, as I pick the pink book back up and start flipping through its pages. I don’t pay much attention to anything in the book other than the names of the spells- that’s all I really need to figure out anything useful. I whisper the names of the spells as I pass them, waiting for something that sounds useful in summoning someone or something to help me or just out and out getting rid of the books safely.

After a moment, I find something- Eldritch Mouth. That seems like something. I read through the description to see if it could help. “This ritual will allow you to utter unspeakable incantations.”

As much as I know that being able to pronounce the spells isn’t a problem, at least with summoning, I can’t help but wonder what I could really do with this. The page implies that it won’t change your normal mouth or magically teach you a new language, but that it’ll give you a new mouth… on your hand. I feel my thoughts wondering towhether or not it could be used to read something other than unspeakable incantations, like summoning spells.

If it can, then I could find the summoning spells in the other two books and use my new mouths to summon all three goddesses at once. And then maybe use them for something else. But, if I can’t, then I’ll be stuck with teeth in my palms until I die.

I feel another tug-of-war starting in my head as I go back and forth over whether or not to cast the spell and risk permanently fucking up my hands for nothing.
