Chapter 9 by Phyte Phyte

Go see old boss or get long term security?

Long term

I left my newly obtained company to find the means of ensuring my mom, and whoever else I wish are under my control and ownership long term. To get tattoos on people, I need an artist, and to get an artist I need to claim them and then get them to claim and tattoo more artists for myself or they’d be over whelmed by the amount of people I send their way.

Once I get that first one everything else would fall into place, it would be a bit tricky though since I didn’t even have the trust that I did with the receptionist as a fellow wage-**** and peer.

I metaphorically shop around for a bit before I find what looks like a new tattoo joint, when I go in I find a young man with an excite grin on his face that I match given this is just what I need. We talk back and forth for a bit and I mention I am looking for a place to bring my girl for a tattoo. I ask innocently if I can show him what I want on his arm to model it, the arm is thankfully relatively bare, so he has an idea. I said I’ll pay him an hour’s work if he agrees since I think it will help for later but I don’t want to get ink on my dress shirt.

He buys my excuse and shrugs at the oddity, allowing me to claim him, I give the usual orders to him: to act how he normally would(breathing for instance), and keep quiet about his new ownership. After paying him, I am a man of my word, I issue a new order to tattoo my name onto his arm.

An hour later and I have my first permanent puppet. I tell him to follow me after that and we hit several tattoo parlors to claim their artists via my metaphorical song and dance before the afternoon, even managing to get lunch while we’re at it. With these artist’s contacts I give them orders to claim anyone they can without issue, if need be they can use a marker to claim them first and then tattoo them after. I leave the artists with written orders for my new puppets to have my standard orders of normality and secrecy. Can’t have them dying unintentionally, assuming they won’t just pass out first.

Do I need to own everyone in this city and beyond? No, but it could be handy and I am paranoid sometimes so this is a good start. By mid afternoon I’ll likely have dozens of new willing slaves. But back to why I did all this in the first place.

Mother.
