Lois leaves her drink to investigate the club

Planning to go back and add some forks to the earlier path. Let me know what you would like to see on any of these, reader feedback is much appreciated.

Lois decided to leave her drink. Trixie seemed innocent enough, but Lois already put away one of the pink and yellow cocktails to keep her cover up, she couldn't risk any more **** potentially clouding her judgment. After giving Trixie a nod, Lois stepped back into the crowd, further investigating the interior of the club, leaving the bartender to return to pouring drinks.

She pressed through the dance floor, weaving in and out of **** club goers. A few guys and girls went to pull her in for a dance, some of the more brazen ones even tried grinding, but Lois moved defensively past them, shaking her head in disinterest at each one. She noticed cameras all over, along with the staff, bouncers, and security guards. There were a pair of stainless steel swinging doors with small windows that appeared to lead to a kitchen area, where bartenders and wait staff were constantly coming and going. There was also a winding hallway, blocked off by one burly guard who dissuaded anyone from taking it. Besides the safety exits, the only other possible hiding spot was a black door on the back wall. It was unattended, but closed and likely locked. A handful of tables and patrons surrounded it, but none of them seemed to notice.

Lois considered her options as she tried her best to blend into the crowd and avoid the focus of the cameras. She was still dressed like a club-goer, but with the right approach and some quick thinking, the resourceful reporter knew she could solve this mystery. But which should she choose?

The kitchen door was a high traffic area with lots of staff going in and out, but Lois obviously wasn't staff.

The hallway was guarded by a large bouncer. Lois would have to distract or talk her way past him, but that would almost certainly attract attention.

The black door was in plain sight, but unguarded and most likely locked. Lois would need to quickly get past the lock and get through the door before anyone noticed.
