Lois helps Clark/Dream Sequence

Superman grabs Lois and flies out of the door "NOOOO!" shouts Mindy, she calls Tempus "We have a problem..."

Meanwhile at Lois' apartment Clark is sleeping in her bed, Lois is on the phone to Martha Kent "Oh Lois, thank you we've been so worried, we've been trying to get in touch with Clark for weeks, I'm so relieved", Lois looks at Clark turning in his sleep "Don't thank me yet, she responds "I don't think Mindy's played her last hand, and I'm guessing when she's got her panties out of a bunch this is the first place her goons are going to come", Martha thinks for a moment bring him here, I'm betting she doesn't know where we are and it'll buy us enough time to think of another plan", "Great idea" replies Lois "I've just got to wait for Rip Van Clark to wake up first, I should go and pack a bag" they say their goodbyes she hangs up.

Clark is still tossing in his sleep, he's dreaming of Mindy calling out to him, she's in pain without him, he reaches out to her suddenly he's in the fortress of solitude kneeling before Jor-El "My Son, stand up this is not the path that destiny has laid out for you, you are the last son of Krypton, I said STAND UP MY SON!" Clark motions to stand but suddenly feels a hand on his shoulder, he turns and sees a set of perfectly manicured pink nails, he looks up it's Mindy "Don't listen to him Clarkie, I'm lost without you, she dramatically holds her hand against her head open palm out, you belong with me come with me Clark" she takes his hand and leads him away...Suddenly he's back in his room in his parents house in Smallville laying in his bed he gets up and walks down the stairs into the kitchen Martha is slaving over a hot stove "Morning sleepyhead, I thought you were going to dream the whole day away, would you like some breakfast?", "Mom", Clark replies "I've done something terrible I...I killed a man", Martha turns and looks at him "That wasn't you honey that was something else, you're a good man Clark don't you ever forget that, that's what you are", Clark feels the same grip on his shoulder he looks to Martha but she's gone back to the stove as if he isn't there "You did kill him you know...", He looks up Mindy bops him on the nose "And you enjoyed it...." Clark goes to respond but Mindy puts her finger to his lips "This is your true nature Clarkie, you even told me that I bring out the real you...does a man care when he steps on an ant? So why should a god care when he steps on a man? That's what you are Clark you're a god, and I am a goddess, she looks around the kitchen "We're above all of this, it's ours all of it" she leads him back into his bedroom, pushes him down and climbs on him, suddenly they're both naked she's riding him "Isn't this what you want Clarkie, tell me I don't make you happy", "I....I...." He says as he tries to form words...suddenly he's out back looking at his dad cutting wood..."Well come on Clark are you just going to sit there or are you going to help me?" He hands Clark the axe and he starts splitting the wood Jonathan Kent turns to his son "Well Clark, you're in a bit of a mess now ain't ya, now if you ask me you're like this block of Wood, someone's come along and split you with a big old axe", he picks up 2 pieces of the same log "there's 2 paths opening up before you son, you've got to choose", he hands the pieces to Clark...two hands cover his eyes "Guess who" she moves her hand and sits next to him, "You know who else was like that block of wood? That man you killed you split him in two and it was wonderful, come back to me Clark" she sits on his lap "You know I'm right, even in your dreams you can't lie to me" suddenly Clark is in a house he doesn't recognise sat on a couch, 2 kids a boy and a girl maybe 2 years apart run into the room and up the stairs "Hey Dad", "Dad?" Clark responds, Lois walks into the room "Ugh, the kids have left the kitchen looking like a disaster, I've got a deadline due for tomorrow morning," she sits next to Clark kissing him on the forehead "How's your day been sweetie?", Clark looks at his hand and sees a wedding ring, "It's been fine Lois", "Clark" she nuzzles into him "this house, the kids this is everything we ever wanted, this is what you want right?", He goes to answer "Don't listen to her Clarkie" he feels Mindy fingers raking across his mind, "you love me Clarkie, more than you ever loved her, I'm more beautiful than her, I'm better in bed, and I'll make all of your dreams come true, just come back to me" she reaches down and kisses him, Lois reaches over and does the same...suddenly he's in a suit in a church, Jimmy Olsen is standing next to him looking at the alter he turns around and the church is full on one side "his mom, his dad, his friends from the planet, Mason Drake, his friends from Smallville on the other side every criminal he's ever caught...suddenly Wagner's Bridal chorus plays as Mindy and Lois both make their way down the aisle, they both look at him "Time to choose Clark"...he wakes up shouting "ARGH!" he's in Lois's bed she's sat next to him applying a cold compress with a damp cloth "What's wrong?", "Nothing...how long was I out for?", "About 20 minutes" she says, Clark looks at Lois "Then we don't have long we need to go to my parents house", Lois looks at the end of the bed and picks up a bag "I've already packed a bag", Clark stands up staggering, grabs Lois and bolts out of the window, I've missed this thinks Lois, just at that precise second, a community unit bursts through the door trashing Lois' apartment.

Mindy and Tempus are in the war room is looking through the camera of one of the community officers helmets "He's not there?", Mindy begins to have a tantrum, "I don't like it when people touch my things Tempus, and Lois Lane hasn't just put her grubby hands on him she's taken one of my things", "Relax," Tempus replies "We'll smoke him out and bring him under again I have no doubt he's at his parents Smallville farm", Mindy lights a cigar "I'll send a unit, but I don't like this, whatever Lane sprayed him with is still out there", "An antidote to the perfume, no doubt...listen we'll go ahead as planned but we'll bring Mr X into play", Mindy smiles "If Clarkie comes back, I'll have my way with both, and if he doesn't I'll rip out his heart and still have the other", "Precisely" Tempus replies "This was always on the cards, I would have just preferred Clark securely under your....well just under you in general", Mindy pushes her PA button "Arrange a meeting for tomorrow with you know who"...

Lois and Clark have arrived at the Kent's farm, Clark staggers in, Jonathan and Martha help him in "I need to sleep" says Clark as they lead him into his old bed, Clark lays their seeing visions of Mindy for hours, meanwhile Lois fills the Kent's in on what's been going on when suddenly a communty unit bursts through the door, "This isn't Metropolis, you thugs have no jurisdiction here", there's no reply except the community officer addressed the unit "seiz the woman, Superman too", one of them grabs Lois, Superman bursts through the door taking down each community officer with relative ease, "Good timing son" says Jonathan, "Mom, Dad I'm sorry I had to drag you into this, but I'm going to put and end to it!" He walks towards the door "I need to get you all to a safehouse", Martha replies "That's fine and all but what are you wearing? The Black is ok but I much prefer the old Red and Blue look and I've got one here, Clark slips it on, it feels like seeing an old friend again, he flies his parents to a safehouse he knows, Lois is refusing to leave besides he could do with her and that antidote in case he falls back into Mindy's charms.
