You can't fight City Hall

Superman has spent the last couple of hours speeding around the city taking out as many Community officers as possible, Mindy and Tempus are sat watching it unfold on the news, Mindy looks at Tempus, "Should we put the contingency plan in place?" Tempus "I think it's time, it'll draw him here and at the very least", Mindy pushes her PA button "Get me a camera crew and I want it yesterday".

Superman and Lois are standing outside the daily planet, when all of a sudden the giant advertising screen downtown (and every electronic device in the city) begins to play a Metropolitan Emergency Broadcast "This, is an emergency broadcast from city hall", Mindy appears on the screen upset, just the sight of her makes Clark's heart flutter and penis stiffen, Mindy has a tissue and his dabbing her eyes,she picks up the Subliminator "Citizens of Metropolis, it is with a heavy heart I have to report that our beloved Superman and..." she points her ring at the camera she can't even help showing off even now "My husband to be" she continues "has been taken hostage and hypnotised by Lois Lane" footage plays of Superman attacking Community officers " she's jealous of me, my beauty and that Superman loves me over her, we've ascertained she has a spray on her being, it works by activating pheromones in the blood, Your community needs you, I ask every one of you to head into the street and defend our officers and show Lois Lane the meaning of Community, but most importantly get that bottle, I have also set up a hotline here at City Hall for any sightings oh and Superman just know that I love you very, very much." She air kisses a few times before she's overcome with tears and the broadcast ends. Tempus in the background "Inspired my dear Mindy", Mindy lights a cigar "There's nowhere you can hide from me Clarkie".

Meanwhile back outside the Daily Planet Lois looks at Clark "Uh-Oh this isn't good", they turn to their left as Perry walks out the door holding a musket he keeps from the civil war pointing it at Lois, she looks at him "What are you doing Chief?", Perry looks at her "Superman, heres your chance to back to Mindy, I'll take care of Lane, you make me sick Lois hand over the bottle", Superman walks upto him "Mr White, Mindy has hypnotised everyone in the city," "Aww son," Perry responds "It looks she got you pretty bad", Superman grabs the gun bending it into a loop, he grabs Lois and flys into the sky landing on a nearby sky scraper "HEY THAT WAS ANTIQUE" shouts Perry...

From their vantage point on the ceiling Superman can see patrols of community officers and 100's of citizens with make shift weapons making their way to City Hall, Lois looks at Clark "What now?", Clark looks at Lois "Listen, I've got a couple of favours I can call in but this could get messy", the best course of action is that we play this that I'm bringing you in as a criminal and I confront Mindy", Lois asks him are you ready for that "I dont know, but there's only way to find out".

Superman has called in his favours and he jets off to City hall with Lois, the crowd scowling at Lois they part as if Moses himself is parting the red sea allowing them in the door, one of the citizens shouts "Grab the bitches bag", they snatch it her personal belongings fly everywhere including the antidote "NO, The Antidote!" She shouts, Clark gives Lois a look trying to exude confidence but failing as they enter.

Clark heads upto Mindy's office, a deathly silence as the officers and citizens aren't saying anything, they open the door and there she is, divine as ever sat behind that desk "Clarkie I'm glad you could join us did you miss me?" before he can answer Mindy steps up and begins to approach cutting him off "I missed you terribly Clark, my heart hurt without you", Lois scoffs "Well, it looks like I've found the antidote to your little scheme, Clark doesn't need you anymore" both Lois and Mindy pick up on the fact that Clark hasn't said anything or moved since entering the room...Mindy holds her hand out "Come to me Clarkie and we can forget all about this and I promise you Lois will be fine", Lois snaps back "Yeah right," Clark approaches and takes her hand "Err Clark what are you doing?" Asks Lois, Mindy smugly smiles "You see even without the perfume Clarkie prefers me to you" suddenly the smug look melts away as Clark grabs her arm with the other hand, she sprays him with the perfume, he recoils, she kisses him, Lois shouts "Clark what are you doing", the smug look returns "You see, Miss Lane you've lost, accept it..." she tries to walk forward, Clark still has her arm "Let go Clarkie...", Clark looks at her tears in his eyes "I love you Mindy....but this, this isn't right, I have to end this." Mindy looks disgusted brushes his arm off "I see that you've made your mind up Clarkie?" She reaches into her desk and pulls out a rock of red krytonite "Lets see if we can't change it", she approaches Clark with the rock and puts it in his hand...he feels dizzy, he can't help himself, "Let's finish this and go home Clarkie, kill her" she says with a satisfied look, Superman "I won't do it Mindy, I WON'T DO IT" he crushes the krytonite in his hand...Lois "Way to go Clark!", Mindy looks at him "I can't say I'm not disappointed..." "You might as well come out now" the click of a loaded gun "really? I was enjoying the show" says Tempus as he steps out of the shadows pointing the gun at Lois "TEMPUS??" shouts Lois, "REALLY MINDY? TEMPUS? HES A MANIAC" Mindy shrugs, "Flattery will get you nowhere with me Lois" Tempua answers, Superman looks at Mindy "Please, you don't need to do this Mindy...I still love you", Mindy looks at him "hmm, I know you do but here's the thing Clarkie, there's two ways I like my men either strong and obedient or evil and stinking rich, you're no longer either Clarkie" Superman suddenly feels weak and drops to a knee, "But I've found myself a man who embodies all of those traits, let me introduce my new business partner, that's right you're looking at the new soon to be majority shareholder in Lex Corp oooooooh Sexy Lexy come here", Lex enters the scene holding a green kryptonite rock on a chain, "Yes my little honeybun" replies Lex, "I had a meeting with Lexy, and when I got him 1 on 1 we struck a little deal" she caresses his cheek, "He even had this made for me..." She takes the chain with the krytonite rock and delicately plays with it in her hand..."Beautiful isn't it Clark, it really brings out the blue in my eyes, but then the more I looked at the more I realised I think it'd look even better on you" she hands it back to Lex, "Be a dear and give Superman his gift", Lex places it around his neck, canoodling with Mindy in plain view as Superman collapses, she approaches Superman barely conscious, straddles his mid rift "In case you can't tell Clarkie, the wedding is off I think we should see other people, here's something to remember me by" she kisses him hard on the mouth, Mindy turns to Tempus "finish them off, the paperwork is ready, Let's go Lex, you were saying something before about moving your main assets into my name" they walk away linking arms as Mindy taps Lex's nose.

Tempus tells Lois to stand against the wall as he prepares to shoot her "Decisions, decisions, do I let you watch Clark be scrubbed from existence before I shoot you, or do I let the last thing he sees be his precious Lois Lane's brains splattered across this fine mahogany wall?" Lois "You'll never get away with this?", Tempus laughs "Superman is dying at my feet, I have you right where I want you, we have the entire city under our control, we're about to takeover Lex Corp, and soon with the Subliminator we'll take the whole country..." Lois cuts him off confidently "But you forgot one thing Tempus...", "Oh what's that then Lois?", "Well," she starts "Statistically, I'd imagine you forgot something..." Tempus laughs "I'll miss you two, I really will it's so hard to find worthy opponents oh well say Goodnight to Lois, Clark" he reaches out with his last bit of strength...BANG! Not the sound of a gun firing, but the door bursting open with a small troop of national guards, that had infiltrated the building, Tempus drops the Subliminator still takes his shot but in the melee misses Lois, he looks at his current circumstances "Well it seems like this is point in chess, where you would say check Lois, I've been thoroughly beaten but the thing is Lois what you're forgetting..." He opens the time window jumps in Lois shouts "He's getting away"....a "Well, DUH" can be heard as the window closes sending Tempus somewhere through time. Lois runs to Clark rips the chain from around his neck and throws it out of the window, Clark slowly begins to stand he approaches the national guard men "Looks like my calling in a favour with President Garner worked out..." Lois embraces him "There's no time for that" Clark grabs the Subliminator Tempus dropped earlier and tells Lois to stop the fighting, he's going for Mindy as he heads down the hall

Lois heads out front where the national guard are doing their best to fight off the community without hurting any of the citizens "Lois approaches the steps and speaks into the Subliminator "Hey stop fighting" she shouts! Suddenly everyone stops, "I could really do with taking this home", she heads back in to find Clark and Mindy

Upstairs in a conference room Mindy has Lex sat at the end of the table looking over the forms, she puts the pen is his hand and begins to sensually rub his shoulders "Sign it Sexy Lexy and...." Superman cuts her off "Don't sign that Lex, you're under arrest Mindy" she's shocked to see him "Shouldn't you be dead?" She asks, Superman grabs her, with her spare hand she reaches into her bra and pulls out the higher concentration spray and catches him right in the face, "Oh, I know I've been naughty Clarkie but maybe we could come to some kind of arrangement, instead of being under arrest you could be under me, I could be in your custody 24/7 doesn't that sound wonderful?", Superman can't help it his hands drift towards Mindy's body when suddenly "OOOOOH TAKE THIS BITCH" Lois punches Mindy knocking her out and kisses Superman passionately "There, that's a real woman kisses a man" Clark is taken back by the kiss, Lex runs to Mindy's side still under her effect.

Later as Mindy's being taken away, she looks at Clark "You'll always love me Clarkie, I'll consume your thoughts and eat at you till you can't take it anymore" she laughs as she's shown into a national guard squad van. Lois looks at Clark, "it's over lets go home", that night Superman sobbed into Lois' shoulder thinking about the things he'd done and how Mindy was right she plagues his dreams.

Weeks have passed Mayor Berkowitz and the police **** had been reinstated, Clark turned up the daily planet Perry was playing hardball about bringing him back until Lois made out that he'd been undercover on Intergang the whole time and Lois shared with Clark all of her findings as they wrote the article together and resumed some semblance of normality, Clark still had flashes of Mindy haunting him, he'd dream of her but it was becoming less frequent, especially since the squad car that had taken her away had veered off a cliff and she was dead by all accounts. Suddenly Cat Grant walks in waving a perfume bottle "hey Clark, do you like my new scent, it's simply divine" Lois and Clark looked at each other as Cat depressed the bottle "NOOOO" said Clark as he and Lois raced out of the room, Cat sniffs herself "Is it that bad?"

We're back at City Hall as Mindy is being dragged into the van, luckily for Mindy no-one had noticed she still had the higher concentration spray, she was able to mannouver herself to use it in the van, the soldiers were eating out of her hand she'd convinced them to remove the handcuffs drop her off at a private airport promising she'd take them with her she gets out the car "I'll be right back boys, and then you'll get what's coming to you" big air kiss, she approaches the private jet a man gets off "Deathstroke, handle these 4 idiots", "With pleasure Mindy" he grabs a gun and shoots all 4 dead, Mindy looks at one of her assistants "Alison right?", "Yyyyyyes" she replied, Mindy is eyeing her up "we're about the same height? You're not as beautiful as me but who'll be able to tell in the firey wreckage am I right?", Alison laughs "Wait what?", Mindy signals Deathstroke he shoots Alison dead, puts the handcuffs on her and places her in the van, "ANTHONY!" shouts Mindy, one of her goons comes off the plane "Wouldn't it be a shame if this van was to careen off a cliff a flaming wreck, handle it", as Mindy and Deathstroke climb on the private jet "You and I have lots to discuss".
