As if considering the announcer’s words, you could hear Dinah swear under her breath before reluctantly coming to a decision.

Releasing the hold promptly, you walk away with the initial advantage while she takes her time picking herself back up.

As the point-buzzer rings to signal to end of this round, a tense silence looms over the crowd before finally breaking into begrudging applause.

“The point and lead, goes to John with a submission victory over Cowgirl,” the announcer reports, almost disappointed that the opposite didn’t happen.

Turning back towards her, you’re almost surprised to see that instead of bemoaning her loss, she’s beaming at you, almost looking at you in a new light.

“Looks like ya got some fight in you after all,” she grins at you with an impressed look, sorely stretching out her toned midsection. “Cute _and _strong. Just my type.”

“I've got enough fight to beat you,” you retort confidently, but she of course scoffs.

“Honey, ya haven’t even _begun _to fight me. I just didn’t wanna wear out my back too much now, considering all the fun stuff I’ll be doing to you soon enough. Besides….” Walking up to you, her sky blue eyes size you up as her lips curl into an assertive smile.

“I like confidence in my men. Especially those who think they can take little ol’ me. Makes it even more satisfying when I break ‘em,” she purrs into your ear, smirking confidently before striding back to her corner.
