Liz "The Leg" Culverson (F, football player)

Liz is a rarety in the high school world, a girl who is on the varsity football team, as the team's place kicker. Football is Liz's life. She loves coming into the game and scoring the winning field goal. She loves being 'one of the guys.' Of course she knows, and her parents always remind her, that women don't have careers in professional football, and her grades are only so-so, despite being a favorite of the school's administration and teachers. After all, having a girl on the football team is good PR.

Liz is into boys. And yet... being surrounded by her teammates who are always talking about the girls in school, she finds herself with a growing appreciation for how pretty some of them really are. She knows she's not considered one of the pretty girls, and wishes she was, but understands that it's not her role to play.
