Listen to your parents

That one is perfect! I tap 'listen to your parents.' It helps that it's the lowest number of points - I don't know what they mean but if they indicate strength, I don't want to ruin her life.

Until this point, I have been dreading the weekend, because it was time for the monthly family dinner. It will be the first time my parents see me after Mia's damage was done to my wardrobe. Now, though, I am excited to see what will be happening to Mia.

Now I'm too excited to sleep.

The next morning, my alarm goes off at 7am. I run through my usual routine and go for a 40% top because it's a sunny Friday and I'm going to be out studying until fairly late, so I want to play it safe.

I try to hold my excitement because I know Mia usually wakes after 9 and I likely won't hear from her until much later, so I'm surprised when I get a call at 7.30am today. From Mia!

"This is very early for you Mia! Are you turning a new leaf?" I start, merrily.

"What have you done to me? The app isn't telling me anything, but I know it's you!" She hisses her words down the phone like an angry whisper.

I can hear in the background her mother's voice, "put the phone away and come get the groceries with me!"

I then hear "Hnh. Yes Mother," and then the sound of the phone dropping.

Cryptic, but whatever it is, I know I'm going to like it. And maybe she'll learn something.
