You could see the twins turning against you by the looks in their eyes. You quickly hold your hands up for peace. “I was just kidding…” you tell them. “I’m not getting anything out of doing something like that to you.”

“But I could offer you something… for simply handing over the phone,” Katherine says.

Your eyebrow perks. You could make off with the entire profit if you just give Katherine the phone right now! Of course, that would mean betraying Sabrina’s trust, but would that be worth five grand?

“Wait! Don’t give it to her, John! You know that’s my phone, we already agreed that we would split the profits and she is going to give us the money!” Sabrina reasons.

You rub your chin and give it some thought. “That’s true… but now that she’s offering the full $5k for myself, your offer is looking less attractive…”

“What?! We had a deal!” Sabrina says, appalled by your business tactics.

“That was before I heard the counter offer,” you reply. “Come on, Sabrina, how about you sweeten the pot by adding something extra?”
