Listen to her

It’s so hard to focus on your thoughts when you listen to her.
Her words have a way of sinking into your brain, she speaks so smoothly you find yourself dreamily listening. But you **** yourself to break through, you reach a hand out onto the table to try and control yourself
“Stop.” Your other hand massages your head as you focus. “That’s... crazy. You want me to join you? You think I will just work for you...”

She casually raises a hand in the air as a signal for you to stop talking and you instantly go quiet. She smiles and resumes talking, the candles flicker in the corners of your vision. Illuminating her glowing face as she continues to drip more sweet words into your ears.
