Lisa removes the shirt entirely.

"You know, Erica," Lisa said thoughtfully. "With your shirt raised up like this, you might as well not be wearing it at all."

"But you gave me the shirt back on the bus," Erica pointed out in protest.

"I'm not sure if you noticed," Lisa retorted, "but we're not on the bus anymore, are we?"

"That's right, Lisa," Alicia agreed. "This looks like a trail in a forest, to me. Right, Erica?"

"No," Erica replied.

"Arms up!" Lisa cried as she lifted the shirt up the rest of the way and off.

Erica was now walking along the path naked, with only her bag for cover so she slowed her pace so that she could walk at the back of the group and avoid being seen. Lisa threw the shirt to Alicia who tucked it into one of her bags. As her shirt disappeared, Erica noticed that Lisa, Alicia, and Carrie's bags all appeared to be packed with more stuff than her own bag. She couldn't understand why. Most necessities were provided for the campers, and it wasn't like they needed a lot of fancy clothes.

It was probably not important to dwell on such minute details. Instead, Erica chose to hunker down and get as much cover out of her duffle bag as possible.
