A young woman with east Asian features, light skin, dark, almond shaped eyes and long, dark straight hair answers the door.

"Hello, Nick," she says in a shy voice. "Didn't you know Locke isn't home? He and Mother are gone for a month."

You nod and answer, "Yes, I knew that."

Of the five sisters, Linh is probably the shyest, which is saying something! It's a remarkable feat of courage on her part that she answered the door, even when she saw it was somebody she knew and trusted on the other side of it.

When she tells you that Nick and his Mom aren't home, you ask her if you can come in anyway. While you're vocally asking, you are trying to simultaneously mentally command Linh to invite you inside. Linh stares at you for a second.

"Sorry but Locke and Mother are not home" She then closes the door.

You find yourself standing on the front porch, staring at a closed door. Obviously you haven't figured out how your mind control power works.
