Lila, energetic and social

"I think we got it!" Lila said as she picked up her phone on the ground in front of her, watching back the recording she just took.

"Can I see?" her friend Madison walked over to check it out. The two of them had already taped the video a few times but this didn't bother her in the slightest. She always had the chaotic energy for everything Lila wanted to do, which couldn't be said for everyone else who knew her. Almost everyone Madison hung out with would get tired of her quick, which always made her feel like she had to significantly temper herself just to fit in with the other students on campus. Lila on the other hand, had already known her for years and only seemed to want to do even crazier things as the semester went on. Just last week they got in trouble for taking a dip in the school fountain. And it only seemed like the tip of the iceberg for what'd be ahead.

"There we go, just posted!" Lila nodded contently.

"One step closer to taking the rest of TikTok by storm!" Madison posed dramatically as if the two stood on the world stage.

"Maybe if we get more than a thousand likes this time." Lila chuckled, "Are you still down for game night this Saturday?"

"Uh, of course! Where else would I go?"

"The club perhaps?"

"I wasn't thinking about that before but....now that you mention it..."

"I hate you." Lila scoffed.

"I probably hate you more" Madison nodded like this was a well-known fact.

"Wow, guess we won't be studying together in the library later" Lila shrugged playfully as she started to walk away.

"Alright fine, I ADORE you, ma'am." bowing with equal playfulness.

"And I adore you as well" Lila bowed.

Both girls began backing away in opposite directions.

"Shall I meet thee in 3 hours?"

"Yes, I shall meet thee soon. Fare thee well."

Both girls chuckled as they walked away in opposite directions. Almost everyone in Lila's path seemed to greet her with enthusiasm, not a stranger to anyone. As she walked to her class she couldn't help but be proud of how the semester was going so far. She already made more friends than she ever expected, and she already succeeded in her goal of making sure that each week was never feeling like the last. This was especially evident with game night. Somehow she went from having only 3 people over to having 16 just this past week, and who knows how many were going to visit this time. The grades were another thing but who cared about that really? As long as college was a memorable experience, that's what really mattered to her.

As she got closer to the classroom, she was thinking about eating lunch with the rest of her suitemates when she suddenly heard a noise just around the corner, like someone fell and hit the ground hard.

"A little help?" someone groaned.

Lila paused as she listened. It was a voice that sounded somewhat familiar to her.

"Wait a minute...." she walked to the side and looked to find Wade with a stack of books scattered on the floor. "Wade?" She chuckled, "are you okay?"

"Yeah...uh...I'm fine." He stuttered.

"Did you need help with those?" Crouching down and starting to pick up a few books.

"Um....yeah that'd be helpful."

She couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. Wade could be a bit awkward from time to time but he was never this nervous about anything. "You okay?"

"Yeah? Why?" Internally Wade was beginning to panic. Was she onto him already? He should just claim her already. No, turn back. Do it. It's not worth it. You need this!
