Like the Earth...

"Terra Tarron, a pleasure to make both of your acquaintance, despite, our current circumstances" Terra adds along with a little hand shake through the cage which John reciprocates.

Meanwhile, Kyuala looks away, unhappy at John's decision but cuts into the formalities as she says, "Okay, great, we're all friends now, so can we get out of here before we're turned into dinner?".

John notices Kyuala's angry tone and feels a little guilty going against her decision but his guilt is interrupted as the cage doors are suddenly opened with a single flick of Terra's wrist and the surprised looks on both John and Kyuala's faces bring a smile to Terra's as they get out of their confinements.

As they stand side-by-side, Terra helps John out of his bindings before both the freed duo help Kyuala out of hers which she doesn't seem too impressed by.

The orc then takes charge by saying, "Alright, first priority, we need to get our gear back, once we do, we can take the fight to these bastards".

Kyuala's new found aggression stuns John, not really seeing this side of her yet and from first impressions, he isn't a huge fan but is understanding of the need for it.

Terra however has a different plan as she says, "Forget gear, we need to escape pronto, that lizard woman is pure evil, if she even suspects we're around, she will send her hounds to maul us until the only parts of us that remain is some strands of flesh having between some vulltyres beak".

Kyuala grumbles in frustration and John noticed this so he interjects himself into the conversation, "Listen Terra, we have friends here, we can't just leave them, so, if you want to leave, I understand, but we could really use your help with this, strength in numbers y'know?".

Terra looks at John and seeing his pleading expression which makes her sigh in defeat as she says, "Fine, I guess I do owe you something, so, let's go save your friends".

"Thank you" John responds, earning only a nod of acknowledgement from Terra before Kyuala says, "Alright, I think I know where they dropped off our gear before they dragged us here, stick behind me".

Terra and John agree with the plan as they begin to follow Kyuala as they once again delve into the abyssal darkness of the winding caves.

BACK IN THE MAIN CAVERN:

The Darkcross members are all laughing as they dance, sing and lighten their cups of wine with gulps aplenty while Amilia and Lani sit by and watch their 'hosts' enjoy themselves but their scanning and staring is interrupted by the familiar voice of a lizard queen,

"It s-s-seems my people are relishing in our victory" Ivellise says as she sits across from Amilia.

"Yeah, so it seems" Amilia responds with feigned happiness, adding a chuckle to make the act more believable.

"Well, if it weren't for you my dear, we would have no victory, s-s-s-so why don't you indulge as well?" Ivellise asks with those ever intrusive eyes peering right into the windows of Amilia's soul.

Amilia snaps away from her trapping gaze as she replies, "Ahh, usually I love a good drink, or ten, but, I got plans for the wings, had a deal lined up for her already before I even walked into your, humble abode".

Ivellise chuckles, "A forward thinker, I like it, but, at the s-s-same rime, they can be, very, dangerous, especially to someone like me, but, after your, act, and delivery of my most, delicious gift, I must say, you are worth more than sucking some hairy cock for a few gold pieces in a dirty cobble alley in that town of mudfuckers".

Amilia goes her head a little, ashamed that she's bringing that up but she keeps her emotions inside as she says, "Yeah, well, I plan to move up in the world now, my knees have been dirty for long enough".

Ivellise hears the purpose in Amilia's voice, grinning as she's once again impressed with the ferocious feline that lays within Amilia, that's when she says, "Follow me Miss Amilia, I wish to show you something".

Ivellise stands up and Amilia slowly gets up to follow with Lani clinging onto her friend as they walk behind the unpredictable Lizard Queen.
