Like a charm.

Jack insists on cuffing Sarah in the shower while the two of you go to the meeting to turn over the stolen device to Mr. Johnson. The ride there is rather uneventful and when you arrive you see Anvil and Whirlwind are already there. Looking the pair over you would guess Anvil must have taken quite a beating by the way he is sitting, but for the most part they seem ok. Moments after the two of you arrive Mr. Johnson steps in with a second young man in an expensive business suit with neat short hair and a bulge of some kind of pistol under his arm. “I see all of you are here. Did everything go as planned?”

Jack smiles and barks out, “We got it like you said, easy as pie.”

Whirlwind is next to speak as he pulls out a case and sets it on the table, “A bit more resistance than I would have liked, but we are both alive.”

Mr. Johnson takes both of the items, looks them over, and smiles as he hands them both to the man with him. “Mr. Adams if you would be so kind as to take these to the car.” The other man steps out and Mr. Johnson waits for him to leave before turning to all of you. “I must say I am impressed by how well each of you performed. Can I count on you if I need further assistance?”

“As long as the pay is good.” Whirlwind answers.

Jack seems to speak for both of you as she tugs your skirt and says, “We would be happy to do whatever. We had a hell of a time.”

Finally Anvil just grunts and says, “Yeah I suppose.”

“Excellent. I can get your numbers from your respective fixers. It was a pleasure. Thank all of you.” He says as he turns and walks out.

Whirlwind stands next and walks out without a word. Jack is next to stand. She waves goodbye to Anvil, grabs your wrist, and bolts out the door, nearly dragging you once again. Once the two of you are out of earshot of anyone else she finally stops and asks, “So do you know a good hacker so we can use the info that Sarah knows about some of the local companies to get rich?”

“As a matter of fact, I do.” You answer with a big grin and can’t help but nearly skip on your way out to your car with this psycho little whore. As usual she is at the car first, slapping the top while she waits for you to open it. As you slip into the car you ask, “So, do you think we should go get my friend first, or Sarah?”
