Time to Confront Trish?

Like, totally!

Chapter 15 by CMW CMW

Trish was down at the hospital with Stacy. I had texted to confirm, so this would be a perfect chance to steal the book. I had said I might come over to get an examine myself. Ooooo that tingles. They were likely doing a nerve test and I was feeling the shocks in my pussy. Hmm, it would be bad if her body wasn't actually getting signals, but I doubted that. I imagined she was, just her brain wasn't letting her feel it from magic or something.

I didn't really know how it worked, but there was no point being concerned. Stealing her vaginal physical sensation had been a rather dumb thing to steal. Just her raw sexual satisfaction would have been better. Wait... what am I thinking. I didn't need to steal anything from Chrissy. Hmm but boy did Eddie know how to fuck a woman. I really did want him as a boyfriend even more than ever as a result, but well. Focus.

The college student at the front desk waved. "Good afternoon."

"Hey," I said with a wave. My clothes didn't match my better poise but it was fine. "Trish wanted me to grab something from her room. Mind buzzing me in real quick."

"Hmm? Well, I can't exactly do that, not without her permission," she said.

"Oh, yeah. Sure," I said handing her my phone. I showed her a a little hack I did that made it look like a text from Trish's number gave me permission. She could confirm the phone number. "You can call her if you want, but a friend of hers is in surgery, so it might be a bit. I'll wait."

She stared at my phone and paused. "No no, if you have that. I'll buzz you in."

"Thanks. You're an angel," I said as I walked over to her room. Sweet. That is one hurdle cleared. Just... doors really do just swing open for you when you got the grace and skill of a beautiful woman don't they.

I got to Trish's dorm room and heard a click and went in and shut the door really fast. Kyoei No Senban I am coming for-

"Ginger?" Trish asked looking at me, holding a twelve pack can of rootbeer.

Fuck. "Are you roommates with Amber?" I asked.

"You can't get through that door unless you broke in or got the front lady to let you in. Explain," she said, setting the rootbeer down.

I stood a bit taller. Poise was a good choice, I was mentally crying inside but like it wasn't showing. Fuck... you were supposed to be at the hospital! Ugh! Not only that, I was expecting to be out of here before she could check with the lady at the front. I needed to say something.

"I think perhaps we got off on the wrong foot here. This is a misunderstanding," I said with a smile.

She hunched over the counter and sighed. She grabbed a root beer can and tossed it up in the air. I caught it. It was a bit slippery because it was covered in condensation but my new grace managed. "Nice catch. Well, I was stressed out. You are Stacy and Chrissy's friend too. So just what are you doing here?"

I cracked the can and took a drink. It was a bit cold. I was mostly stalling. She was smart and she clearly wasn't going to give me any clues. I needed a good excuse and I needed one fast! I could... No! Well, stealing something from her should be my last idea. She'd get it back tomorrow. Plus, this gift was such a treasure. I didn't want to misuse it.

I titled my face to appear a bit shy. "I accepted a dare. To steal your panties," I said. Embarrassing but, I could work with it. She hated men, and there was the whole thing with the football player. I might be able to use that.

"Who would and why.... one thing at a time. Who would dare you to do such a thing?" she asked.

I continued to look embarrassed. "One of the football players. I don't have his name but I could point him out. He said.... he'd tell me who put food in my inhaler if I got your panties and I was..." I paused to look like I was scared. It was... so interesting. This wasn't that different than my normal fear response, just... smooth. I wasn't trying to decide what to say either. Like, I could think the basic idea of my argument and then just, Gemma's poise took over. It felt... amazing.

Trish's brow furrowed. "Such dicks! Well, you should have just asked me. I'll help, but you gotta let me in on it okay?"

I nodded. She shrugged her head and we began walking over to the the back area, she paused and we stepped into the laundry area of the three person dorm room. "Might as well give the fuck a dirty pair. So, you have his phone number? Your phone on you?"

She is still testing me I bet. That look in her eye. Of course she is. She is smart. Too smart to just be taken in by a cute face and a sad story. I get it though, the old me might have lost to that smile. Felt seen by her. Even if she was lying. Hmm. I have to keep everything as open as possible or she might trap me. "Yeah, but I left my phone at home," I said. Not having his number would be too much. It would sound dumb. Leaving my phone at home I could at least argue was something I did so I wouldn't be pinged here.

"Hmm, what about hair color? I know you can't remember his name, but something to help me narrow it down," she asked.

Frick.... Fine. "Short, brown, a bit wild and he looked a bit bigger than I expected him to be like.... oh my," I said. I tried to toss out useless details along with it. Anything I could do that would help make it worthless but sound like I said a lot.

She walked over and placed a pair of panties in my hand and held both my hands a bit tight and looked at me. "I came over here to grab some cold rootbeer because the hospital didn't have any. I was worried at first but, I feel a lot better now. To be completely honest, I was afraid you came over to try and steal that gross book. Don't worry. The police already took it. It was covered in something dangerous. So they should be destroying as we speak."

What! My heart sank! Froze! All the above! I was... too late but... the Kyoei No Senban belonged to watchers. It... I... I was freaking out, but thankfully the poise I think was mostly covering for me. "I... I... Well... that is a shock. Did they mention the substance, since I-"

Ba-dump. No. What was that. This... feeling.

"Ginger?" Trish asked. "Your heart rate spiked. You really did come here for the book didn't you?"

I looked down at my hands. "You... tricked me," I thought backing off. "I..." paused and giggled. Vellus had warned me she'd be clever. "I guess I didn't realize you'd lie so well."

"You're one to talk," Trish said. "I asked questions and held your hand. Hardly lies. I would help you and donate my panties to even a perv football player if it would help. But what about you? Does he exist? And you... even the same girl from last night?"

Is that what she told herself? I mean, it was true to a point. But I could hear you know. "So, the police took my book?" I asked while looking at a spot at the wall.

"No.... but... how?" she asked.

I didn't care anymore. I would push through her if I had to, the book was just twenty feet away! Just the other side of that door! She grabbed me and we struggled. My poise did work but it would seem, not enough, as I tumbled to the ground. My glasses fell off as I did, but I stood back up fast enough.

"Even your glasses. So... that book is magical right?" she asked.

I nodded. "Kyoei No Senban. It was given too Eddie by a friend of mine because she was being kind. She wanted him to use it! But if he won't use it! Then I will take it!" I said.

She put her hands up. "Lets just try and slow down here. I'm guessing, the girl I met yesterday, the sick girl you were then. She's real and that book is magic and can help. I am not exactly against that. But, think about it, just for a moment. It hurt Chrissy, and now you are trying to hurt me. I have only wanted to help people. Can we just talk about it?" she asked.

I slowed my breathing. I felt... I dunno. On some level, I knew she was right. It must be nice, to be her. She's one of the most beautiful girls in the school. Smartest too. Vellus, the strongest book even liked her. Had a poise not to bad compared to Gemma. "What are you asking me?"

"Let's go to a cafe, we can talk about what you know, what I do," she said, with a sad smile. "If you still want the book, I can leave and let you have it, but if not, is it not worth just going a bit slower?"

I clenched my fist. Just as Vellus predicted. If I cornered her with the book... She would likely try and stall, and get us away from it. After that, she would only need to text a friend to move the book. The simplest lie and I would have lost before we even reach the cafe.

Well... Course she doesn't understand how I feel... how we watchers feel! She can't possible understand! Well! Perhaps Trish. Its time you actually learned what it feels like to want something! Then maybe you'd understand why that book was so important to us from the other world and why that kindness is so cruel from this side!

"Steal!" I shouted!
