Lie to her, tell her she caused it all

"What did I do? What did you do?" Angelica looks stunned at what you're saying. "Angie, the world is crumbling out there, they're saying you caused this. What did you do?" You watch the day turn over in her head, "I didn't do anything. Who's saying that?" You pull Angelica close and point to the side, "The news said it." As if on cue, the TV comes to life.

"In more recent news, governments the world over are still searching to apprehend a woman named Angelica Jones." Angelica's eyes grow wide, she rushes to the window and stares at the mutants in the street, now baking in the sun's radiation. "Amy you have to believe me, I never meant for any of this to happen." You turn the tv off and look towards Angelica, "You never meant for people to die at your hands? You never meant to cut a whole in the atmosphere so large it would start the apocalypse? You tried to learn how to control microwave radiation and look what happened. It's a miracle they aren't knocking on our door right now.

*KNOCK* *KNOCK* *KNOCK* "Angelica Jones! We have the building under lockdown, there is no other option, come with us peacefully!" Angelica curls up into a ball in the corner and you watch the tears stream down her face. You know what to do. "Angie, I can help you." She looks up from her position in the corner, "You can help me?" You answer her, "Yes, I can help you, but you have to trust me." You could erase the idea that SWAT ever existed, but you're still learning, so maybe think smaller. You summoned the police here, so how would you get rid of them?
