Library

Entering the library you had no idea where to start looking for Jessica. The halls were vast and with several floors it was truly a maze.

You text Jessica "I'm here, where are you?" not wanting her to think you ditched her.

"Ummm lets play a game, Hotter and Colder. I'll be the reward if you find me!" a game you hadn't played in years but your prize had you wanting to play, with the stakes being so high.

You started down a hallway full of books near a stairwell in case she was on an upper floor. Getting a text saying "Hotter" as you stepped into the stairwell.

"Ummm 1st floor then on my way" teasing as if you knew exactly where she was.

"Hotter" as you left the stairwell looking over the banister of the library seeing that same young man walk into the library. Not thinking anything of it you went down a hall stacked with old textbooks passing many bookcases.

"Colder" you took a step back turning right down an elengated hallway with a study area at the end.

"Hotter" continueing down "Hotter", "Boiling", Scorching" the anticipation killing you as you craned you neck to look both way down every aisle you passed. Until...
