Lexi decides to sleep

As Lexi sat in the chair, looking out of the window, she decided to ignore her uneasiness and doubts and get some sleep. She would start her investigation tomorrow once she was well rested. She heard the door open and glanced towards it.

Harwin back into the room carrying a tray. As he looked in Lexi's direction his leering look returned and she frowned in annoyance.

"I've brought you some food and drink," he said simply as he set the tray down on the table, "would you like me to set the table." His smile was sleazy and Lexi felt as if he was undressing her with his eyes.

"Thank you for the food and drink, don't bother setting the table," she responded, irritation entering her voice.

"Is there anything else I can help you with?" Harwin asked in a suggesting tone.

"No," Lexi said sharply, her anger flaring, "I'd like to be alone now."

"Very we'll. Just call in you need anything at all," Harwin said in that same suggesting tone with his sleazy, leering smile.

Harwin took his leave as Lexi rose and crossed to the table angrily. She was sick of guys looking at her like a piece of meat and not as a respected Warrior. Not all men looked at her like that but enough did to make her hate it. As soon as some men saw the size of her breasts and her slim body they forgot she was the best Warrior in the kingdom.

Lexi removed the plate and cup from the tray and placed them before her. On the plate was a good sized thick cut of beef and cooked vegetables. In the cup appeared to be red wine. She hadn't realised how hungry she was till she saw the food before her and quickly devoured the meal. After her meal was finished Lexi took a sip of the wine. It was rich and tasted of summer fruit but there was a slight spicy aftertaste, which while not unpleasant made Lexi wonder what it was. She drank the wine to the dregs anyway. Just as she stood to retire to bed the world suddenly went black.

Lexi awoke feeling groggy. She looked about with blurred vision and tried to move but found she couldn't. Actually, her mind slowly clearing, she realised she was stood but bent slightly and she felt something wooden around her neck and wrists.
The sudden horror that gripped Lexi quickly cleared her mind more and she suddenly realised she was outside and locked in one of the stocks in the market square.....and she was naked. The cool night touching her bare skin, Lexi panicked and began to struggle against the stocks. As her vision cleared more she realised she was not alone. It appeared all the men of the village stood before her, as naked as she was, all of them looking aroused. She began to panic and struggle even more.

"Careful," a voice said, "you'll hurt yourself." The voice was familiar to Lexi but her vision was still a bit blurred.
