Chapter 4
by Master84
Which thought wins? Does Lexi accept her fate?
Lexi can't accept her fate and gets punished for her answer
"I'd say by the look on your face you've realised that your powers have gone." The Mage's smile showed he already knew the answer. "You enjoyed that didn't you? Willing to accept your fate and your new role?"
Lexi pauses a moment, conflicting thoughts crowding her head but she gives her truthful answer. "My powers are gone and I will never be a warrior again but I will never accept been a **** to you, even though I did enjoy you fucking me," Lexi says with anger and defiance in her voice.
The Mage simply stares at her, no emotion showing on his face. The lack of any emotion started to worry Lexi, when suddenly the Mage spoke. "Very well, you shall not be my ****," he says with scary cheerfulness. "You can use your limbs again. Now get up and follow me. "
"Really? You'll let me go?" Lexi asks with rising hope as she felt her muscles tighten and she rose from the bed to follow the Mage. She knew she would never be a warrior again but any life was better than been a ****.
"Let you go?" Why would I let you go?" The Mage asks conversationally.
The tone the Mage was using was beginning to scare Lexi and her fear was slowly returning. "You said I will not be your ****?"
"You won't be my ****, that is true, but you shall be a **** to someone....or thing. "
Panic rose in Lexi. The 'someone' bit was not the cause of the panic but the 'thing' bit was. "T-thing?" Lexi stammered.
"You'll find out soon enough. Now be quiet."
Lexi tried to speak again but her mouth would not obey. She follow the Mage from the room, down the stairs she had come up to the large round entrance hall. The hall was bare, the only decoration were some touches set in to some wall sconces. Lexi had only briefly glance at the entrance hall and seen nothing of interest but now she saw the Mage head toward an ordinary looking heavy wooden door.
The Mage waved a hand in front of him and the door opened to reveal a tight spiral staircase heading down, lit by touches set in to alcoves in the walls. Lexi obediently followed as the Mage started down the stairs. Her panic had now become full terror at what she would find.
What is at the bottom of the staircase?
