Level Up - Shannon Reaches Level 3

"I wish for the power to create clothing out of magic," Shannon said excitedly

"You sure?" Luke said grabbing Ruby's Lamp.

"Of course I am sure. I have always dreamed of becoming a clothing designer. If I can create clothes out of magic, I would be able to make any of my fashion ideas a reality. Besides I could use a larger company polo," Shannons said trying to pull her shirt further down her pregnant middle.

"I bet you could make a killing selling maternity clothes in the near future," Luke said watching Shannon struggle.

"You want to be an Arcane Tailor?" Ruby said not looking away from a hand mirror.

"That does have a nice ring to it," Shannon said giving up on her shirt.

Shannon and Luke turned to Ruby fussing.

"Ruby, you done with your disguise yet? Luke asked patting Ruby's pregnant belly.

"Your new 'Anatomy Alteration' ability shouldn't take forever to finalize. You look great, stop fussing." Luke said eyeing Ruby's face.

"Don't rush perfection, your human celebrities are hard to emulate," Ruby said still focused on her mirror.

Ruby had transformed into an Elizabeth Olsen look-alike. Her red skin and red eyes were replaced to match the famous actress.

"Ruby, you keeping your red hair?" Luke said leaning closer.

"What is wrong with red hair," Ruby asked as her head started radiating heat.

"Nothing, you look great," Luke said leaning back.

"You know people are going to wonder why a heavily pregnant redhead appeared in my office," Shannon said standing up.

"Just tell them she is a family friend here for a part-time job," Luke said standing as well.

"Hmm, Well it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for you of all people to have a 9-month pregnant friend," Shannon said bumping Luke with her hip as she walked by.

"You're not suggesting I tell the truth are you?" Luke said turning back to Ruby still fussing.

"No, not today, but maybe once everyone lives at Rebecca's mansion," Shannon said turning around and facing the two.

"Okay, you two. We talked enough, time for my wish. Then back to work. We have a store to run." Shannon said putting her hands on her hips.

"Very well," Luke said rubbing Ruby's Lamp.

"Yes, Master?" Ruby said standing up.

"I wish for Shannon to have the ability to create or change clothing with magic," Luke said smiling at Shannon.

Ruby crossed her arms and blinked her eyes.

At that Shannon heard a feminine voice in her head.

Shannon stepped back from the influx of knowledge. She grabbed her head in pain.

Ruby winced.

"Sorry, about that. I should have warned you. Luke and I had similar experiences. But He is a higher-level sorcerer and I have a high arcane affinity. " Ruby said sympathetically.

"Shannon, you alright?" Luke said grabbing Shannon's shoulder.

"Dam, that was a rush," Shannon said shaking her head.

Before Luke could speak again Shannon's Large polo shirt grew 3 sizes.

"Aww much better," Shannon said adjusting her now giant shirt down over her belly.

"Well, I'm glad you're okay. But a little sad I don't get to admire your dark beautiful skin." Luke said stepping back.

"You have a harem of pregnant women. You will survive." Shannon said swatting Luke's arm.

"Ruby, let me fix some clothes up for you. No good Harem Sister of mine is going to walk around in a Genie Cosplay all day. Let me see if we can cover up your golden bracers." Shannon said walking over to Ruby.

Luke watched as his baby mama's talked about fashion. He considered the overpowered nature of Jinns and the insanity of wish magic. It's no wonder the Sorcerer Guilds and Warlock Clans enslaved every Jinn they could get their hands on. As Luke thought of the Jinn Wars he remembered something.

"Right, Ruby's last wish," Luke said snapping his fingers.

Luke rubbed the lamp one last time.

"Yes, Master?" Ruby said standing up and looking towards Luke.

"I wish for you to be free of your Genie Lamp," Luke said smiling.

Ruby smiled back before crossing her arms and blinking her eyes.

CLANK!

Ruby's two gold wrist manacles dropped to the floor.

"Fruit and Sex! They're off" Ruby said with a cheer.

"Let me tell you, I prefer being a Ring Genie. Fewer gold accessories to lug around," Ruby said rubbing her wrists.

Everyone watched as Ruby's Genie Bracers and Genie Lamp began to fade into smoke.

"That's one less thing to worry about," Luke said as the Lamp from his hands disappeared.
