What do you want to do in the park?
Level 1: Ride over the bridge
You ride over to the bridge and park your bike, staring out over the water of the lake.
You remember laughing to Joseph one day when you saw this awkward, lonely girl in the middle of the bridge just standing there, looking at the water.
"How retarded," you said at the time (of course now you realize you shouldn't have said that word, but hey, you were just a idiotic teenager... uh... last year). Joseph laughed and agreed with you. Mark wasn't with you that time. Where was Mark? You remember it was some appointment for something or other.
But now you're older (one and a half years older, practically a lifetime) and now it doesn't seem so stupid or boring, just standing in the middle of the bridge looking out overt the water.
It's relaxing actually.
You feel your turbulent thoughts begin to settle so that you can start to make sense of them.
Item 1: You have a new Step Dad, and there's nothing you can do to change that.
Item 2: He seems okay.
Item 3: But he also makes you uncomfortable, in a squirmy sort of way. You have no idea what that means, but your stomach seems to turn flips when you're around him.
Item 4: Rebecca is back home? What's all that about?
Item 5: Mom seems blissfully happy.
Item 6: Mom and your sisters are acting VERY, VERY strange.
Item 7: Strange, but good. But strange. But weird. But strange. But good. But really, really, really good....
Okay, maybe standing in the middle of the bridge looking at the water is not that helpful after all.
