Letting them know

Thinking it over. Mabelle's thoughts turned to her mother and grandmother.

"They'll probably understand." the 'coordinator' thought as she exited her room. Making her way down the hall, she continued her short steps. While it would take a while to get the hang of, the results really spoke for themselves.

"May, is something wrong?" Caroline inquired and Mabelle stopped. Letting out a deep breath, she met her mother's gaze. Would she even believe what she was about to say? Only one way to find out.

"Mom, I think I want to be an old lady now." Mabelle explained and watched Caroline's expression remain unchanged. Thankfully, that only lasted a moment.

Then a smile.

"Then what do you want me to call you then?" Caroline inquired and Mabelle brought a hand to her chin. Partially to see how her mother would react and partially to see if Carol would show up.

"Mabelle." she answered and felt Caroline grab hold of her hand. Leading her to the front door, some shopping was in order.
