Letter from Persephone to James dated 6 months after the birth of Tristhet.

“My dearest James or Tristhet,

We have heard the news of your successful elevation and are happy for you that with your new profound abilities are able to cancel out or stop the pain from inside but yet confused on why you haven’t taken the time to write to us, I know you are busy and we weren’t allowed to talk prior but this was important to both me and your grandfather. We are hoping to come and visit you very soon, Hela said yes and Loki said we could if we were willing to brave it but we don’t understand what he meant by that. How are you now? What’s it like there and what can you do? It’s weird to think that we know so much but also virtually nothing of the life’s of Isu in the North.

Letter from Tristhet to Persephone 6 1/2 months after the birth of Tristhet. (In messy writing)

“Persephone,

Please! Please don’t come here. What you think you know or what does happen in the South is completely different to here. Helheim is a dark miserable place where the bad are punished and the dead are tormented for fun. I live with Hela which suits us fine; we are both lonely and full of sadness but like me is a monster; her person is half corpse and half alive where I... well I am more beast than man anymore and my emotions? Well I live with them the pain doesn’t hurt but is still there and the sense of depression lingers but I don’t feel it anymore. My memory falters on times and my abilities... I have anger that can cause people both physical and mental pain, I sense people’s: pain, memories and see people’s death... I do my best to help them visiting them in their dreams for comfort if they will listen and offer physical relief or a merciful death if they deserve it, Hela hates it strongly but people deserve to die peacefully. My list of gifts go on and on which concerns most of the Norse Isu. Many have started to talk stories about me and Hela claiming I am the merciful counterpart to her and Hela seeks to capitalise on this wanting us to be lovers or mates; she is “fed up of being alone” but I don’t particularly care about that anymore but still the company is nice. For your safety it’s better that you consider me inaccessible otherwise I fear for your lives and what I can do to you.

Persephone to Tristhet seven months after the birth of Tristhet

“Tristhet,

I have discussed this issue with your grandfather and knowing of your condition we are even more determined to be there for you. We will shortly take a boat ride to Helheim, Charon knows the way and has offered to take us providing he can join us in seeing you. He also believes that he can offer comfort where we can not. I’m asking, no begging you to let us talk to you, we want you to still be part of our family even if you are so far away, Hela permits it so we are coming no matter your response!
