The drive was short, but Gina actually felt weird sitting in the backseat without her car seat. Yep, there is that possive pronoun again, Gina thought of that car seat as "hers" and not as thing inflicted on her. She really had internalized all of this infantilizing treatment. It really was foolish to think she could fix the top. Lauren demonstrated each button. Gina practically had her eyes thrown into the back of her head. The egg was going through random settings, she came almost immediately.
