Let things die down

Vanessa took a deep breath to calm herself down. She reminded herself that despite everything being said, no one knew the cosplayer was her. If she acted to quickly they might figure out who she is. She just needed to stay calm. Letting the day pass by, Vanessa did her best to ignore the posts about her. Soon enough, an entire week had passed. With no new content the post was soon buried by a different unfortunate girl.

Vanessa checked the post one last time, seeing that the speculation on her identity had halted. She closed the tab satisfied that the nightmare was over. Unfortunately for her, she underestimated the power of creeps on the internet, which Vanessa would find out all too soon.
