Let the testing begin!

You wake up to the sound of a beeping sound, opening your eyes to see a probe hovering several inches from your face. "Please awake and ingest the provided nutrients before testing can begin."

You look over to table, on top of it is a silver tray with a large, greenish looking cookie thing on it. You pick it up and bite into it. Hmm... sweet, yet kind of nutty. Not bad. You quickly scarf it down, and stand up, following the probe out the door and down the hall. You make your way down another series of winding hallways.

Before long, you are standing in front of a set of large, grey double doors. They open up once you are standing in front of them, revealing a large octagonal room. The only things in it is a large observation window high above where you see the silhouettes of your alien benefactors, and a small console in the center of the room.

You walk forward and the doors shut behind you.

"It is good to see that you are up. Are you prepared to begin your genetic testing?"

You nod, a little excited, but you're not sure for what.

"That is good to hear. We will allow you to begin by selecting your mate for the fist experiments. On the console in the room you will find a list of your potential partners. Select one of them, and the testing will begin."

You look down at the console, somehow you can understand the language on it. There are two buttons on it. One is labeled "Sapients." The other is "Non Sapients."

"We have divided them up into two categories. The first category is comprised of sapient creatures, those who have evolved intelligence similar to your own. They are volunteers for our research, and you may find them more suited to your tastes."

"The second category is non sapient creatures. They do not have your level of intelligence, but their genes are still needed and must be researched. Their own biology is greatly different from your own. But the cross breeding will take place."
