Let Sabrina come

You don’t want Sabrina’s deal to default due to a loophole, plus you don’t want to end her servitude so quickly, so you decide to help her out this time around.

“Let her come,” you tell Gemma.

Gemma shrugs and sighs, “Alright…” You can feel the disappointment in her voice and can’t help but wonder what might have happened if it was just the two of you heading out together.

“Of course,” she adds, “If I have her with me, I don’t exactly need to take you along as well, do I?”

“Uh…” you respond, realizing you’ll need to convince Gemma to keep you on. You start to wonder if the world is conspiring against you. “I thought we were a team…”

“Could be, but it’s not like we need all hands on deck, I just need someone to hold the camera,” the platinum blonde replies, leaning on the top of your cubicle wall. You can’t tell if she is teasing or seriously contemplating leaving you behind. It feels like you’re just jumping through one hoop after the other today.

“Maybe Sabrina can join you for a few shots?” you suggest, knowing you could get her to do that. “You know guys are all over the girl/girl stuff…”

“You think she’d go for it?” Gemma wonders, seriously considering the option.

“I can convince her,” you nod with confidence. “I can get her to…” you stop yourself from boasting too hard. You don’t exactly want Gemma asking too many questions about your deal with Sabrina.

“Convince whom to do what?” Sabrina asks you, joining the powwow.

“Convince you to join Gemma in the photoshoot,” you reply, not missing a beat.

“Oh. Sure.” Sabrina shrugs.

Gemma raises an eyebrow. Just a day before, this girl was like a shrinking violet when it came to showing off her body. “This is for my Onlyfans, remembah?” she asks, for clarity. “You know, with THOSE sorts a pictchas?”

“Yeah, I know,” Sabrina nods, unfazed.

“So, you’re OK with that? Even if you know the kinds of shots we got in mind? Plastered all over the Internet?” Gemma double checks.

Sabrina glances at you, then back at Gemma and rubs the back of her neck. “It’s not like I hadn’t done it before…” she admits in a low tone.

This time Gemma looks at you, as if to ask what you did to innocent little Sabrina. You give a half shrug and a knowing smile. “Well.. olright then, I guess we all head out…”

“Cool! Where’re we going?” asks Eddie, coming out of nowhere. You all look at each other. Eddie rubs his hand together and says, “We haven’t done one of these bonding team building get-togethers before, I’ll bet the bosses will approve of our initiative!”

“Uh… actually, Eddie, I only have so much room in my hatchback….” Gemma replies.

“No problem! I’ll follow along in my Audi!” he replies, unperturbed. “Are we heading out now? I’ll bring the car around!”

Your eyes are about to roll into the back of your head as you have yet another obstacle to climb over. This was supposed to be just you and Gemma spending time together. Having Sabrina come along is one thing, but Eddie isn’t even IN on what’s really going on! You need to deal with him somehow or this will be the most awkward Intern after hours get-together ever!
