“Hi, how can I help you?” Lisa greeted the woman warmly.

“Yeah I’d like a membership please. Platinum, or whatever the most expensive one is.” The woman trailed off, staring at her phone and hardly paying attention.

“Oh…” Lisa was taken aback by her forwardness, “well our most expensive membership is priced at twenty-five dollars a week and includes…” She said before being cut off.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah. That’s fine.” The woman said fishing out sliver credit card from her wallet.

“Oh” Again startled by her forwardness Lisa began, “Before you pay I will need you to sign a couple of things and enter some details.”

The woman was irrationally impatient and groaned, “Look, can we make this quick? I have a very tight schedule.”

“I’m sorry… I’m going as quick as I can…” Lisa was flustered.

The woman rolled her eyes. “Well, hurry up please.”

Lisa hurried through the membership process, furiously typing and organising paperwork.

“All right ma’am. You are all set, just sign here.” Lisa said, **** to get out of the conversation.

The woman swiped her credit card and turned and left for the main gym floor.

“What a bitch.” Chris said to Lisa quietly.

“Yeah… You know who that is right?” Lisa asked.

The two still stood behind the counter and watched discretely as Layla began her work out.

“No?” He said confused.

“That’s Layla Summers.” She answered even more quietly.

Chris stared back at her, having absolutely no idea who she was.

Lisa understood his confused look, “She’s an Insta model. She has like a million followers.”

“Really?”

“Yeah check it out.” She said pulling up her feed on her phone.

Chris browsed through his new patrons social media feed. Most of her posts had her arse front and centre and had a small sponsored product in the corner of the screen.

“Wow! What a business woman!” Chris laughed.

Lisa laughed too and playfully slapped him on the arm, snatching her phone back off him.
