Chapter 5

Garf
Cop a feel or leave them be?
Let's not get greedy, on to the celebration
Tired, both mentally and physically, from the all-night adventure, Jax was content to just sit there, in the prow of the boat, enjoying the warm of the witches at his side. He nodded off again and this time no nightmarish visions plagued his dreams. He was awaken when the boat docked, the robed figures nimbly leaping on the ramshackle pier. Rubbing his eyes, Jax climbed after them. The other two boats had already docked and the Blue Fists were gathering. Jax was about to join them, when a sound from behind him caught his attention:
"Hey boy, don't forget your mighty weapon!" The fisherman threw the rusty short spear at him and Jax only barely managed to grab it. Wouldn't do to lose his only weapon! His confidence restored by being armed again, he jogged off to join his new companions who had already trudged off towards the Winking Maiden, just visible atop a hill overlooking the beach.
"There's our little trap-bait", Gamla exclaimed in his usual brash manner and slapped Jax on his back, nearly toppling the younger man. His other hand was already coiled around Issande's shoulders.
"Before we get shitfaced, I'd like to remind you all that we must get back to Westgate to be actually rewarded for killing the Lich", Connerad put in.
"Of course", Gamla agreed, "but we'll have a hearty meal at the inn, sleep for few hours and then drink the evening away! Enough time to worry about Westgate tomorrow!"
Jax wondered which one of them actually led the party but everyone seemed to agree with Gamla, so apparently it did not really matter. Milla was already pushing the tavern door open.

"There we were, facing down a chamber full of the most evil creatures the Realms have ever known - dark elves and a full dozen of them!" Milla was standing on top of the largest table the Maiden had, her skirts swishing as she animatedly told the tale of their latest adventure. The Blue Fists were seated in a half-circle behind him, leaving plenty of room for the bard to perform. She had already captivated her audience, twenty locals if not more, and poor Lissa was overworked carrying tankards of ale.
Gamla had commandeered the sturdiest chair for himself, and for good reason, Jax noticed, as Issande had parked her delectable posterior in his lap as soon as the man had sat down. Both of them had switched from their traveling leathers into more comfortable clothes - the Shadowdancer clad in daring red cotton blouse that bared her shoulders and a loose black skirt, the Berserker in only baggy linen trousers. His muscled torso had gained more than one appreciative glance from Lissa. Even Connerad had left his hammer, shield and scale mail in their room, now wearing a respectable gold-trimmed doublet that made him look like a senator from Cormyr. Only the twins were still in their robes, faces forever hidden underneath silk veils, but these were as clean as ever, as if neither dust, dirt nor blood could touch them. Jax suspected magic of some sort.
"Their leader was a woman of course, as evil as she was beautiful - but as she drew her nine-headed snake whip back", Milla mimicked the movement, drawing gasps from the audience, now utterly enthralled, "the spell-slinging sisters stepped boldly forward-", Jax wasn't sure if the largely male audience was more captivated by Milla's acting or her bouncing bosom that was also stepping boldly forward, "hurling fire and lightning, commanding the elements as effortlessly as a child hurls pebbles!"
"Hey, don't forget the part where I skewered one of them with my sword!" Gamla exclaimed, both Issande and Milla shushing him quiet.
Jax drained his tankard. He was pretty sure it was his fifth. Or maybe it was his sixth. He felt pretty drunk already and damn good about himself - Milla had graciously featured him in the tale as well. Without signaling for it, Lissa replaced it with a full one.
"By the Gods, Lissa, you have beautiful breasts", Jax breathed, only too late realizing he had said it out loud. Lissa merely giggled, not even turning sideways. "Well take a good look then Jax", the busty barmaid answered, holding her pose for a moment longer. Jax did as ordered. Her breasts, tightly held under her blue-white dress and corset combination, certainly looked bigger than Milla's, though not quite as large as Issande's. Laughing, Lissa turned around, returning to her duties.
"Well lad, you play your cards right and you might not have to sleep alone tonight eh", Connerad grinned, slapping his knee. Jax just shook his head ruefully. "I know her too well for that - she flirts but that's it", he explained. Though there was a buzz in the back of his head, something about how Lissa had never flirted with him before - but that had been when he was a stablehand. Now he was an adventurer!
"You know what I really wish, seeing all these beauties in Blue Fists?" Jax leaned closer towards the dwarf. The drink had most certainly loosened his tongue: "I wish that it was normal for adventuring parties to celebrate success with a proper orgy!" He giggled at his whimsical, silly thought. Connerad did not laugh. The dwarf merely shrugged his shoulders.
"I guess you really don't know the world then, lad, out here in the middle of nowhere. Blue Fists certainly follow that tradition, have always done so in fact! The girls will be quite happy now that we've added a third sausage to the soup, so to speak, and to be honest, so am I! Satisfying four women between the two of us has been a challenge indeed and Tempus hasn't been happy with so many of my prayers going to Sune, for endurance. Just hold your horses, we always drink first and let Milla work herself up properly, then we'll retreat to the room and get started", the dwarf explained, as if to a clueless hick. Which Jax certainly felt like at that moment.
"Ha-fucking-ha, you're pulling my leg", Jax answered, drinking his ale. Connerad smiled at him: "Sure I am laddie".
As if on cue, Milla had finished her performance and bowed to the audience, all of whom were clapping earnestly.
"Thank you all and may you rest easy, knowing that two horrible menaces have been vanquished, the Blue Fists once again emerging victorious! Now, we'll retreat for our customary post-adventure orgy - I hope you weren't planning to sleep anytime soon!" The crowd burst out in laughter and the Fists jumped off their seats, racing the steps upstairs. Well, all of them except Jax, who remained sitting, his mouth open in surprise.
"Well, what are you waiting for? A written invitation?" Lissa poked him.
What is Jax waiting for?

Don't mind the fucking, nothing to see here
Once upon a time, on a bet and while very very drunk, a higher power of some kind made a very special item.
